I am already bummed, heading into my mid-40's now, at how much high-frequency perception I have lost. I am trying to enjoy the music as much as possible because I know it won't be long until my ear's sensitivity has been attenuated to the point that music will probably sound dull. Music is my life. There is nothing I wouldn't do to delay that loss for as long as possible. i listen to (some) metal music because there isnt such a thing as progressive,creative, intelligent pop or hiphop music.
(dont know if king crimson are really metal...but since they draw inspiriation from about every kind of music one could think of i guess its fair to say that there is some metal in king crimson ) |

I am a fan of all music(i don't consider rap and hip hop music btw)..but besides Joy Division..the thing that got me into music appreciation was old school metal..mostly glam metal "hair metal" of the 80's..and then it bloomed
