I'm making the attempt at creating a LORA and keep running into an issue with a missing module that, unless I'm missing something, doesn't seem to be missing according othe fixes I'm being advised to use.

Read that log file slowly and tell me what is missing.

Coul dit be something called "x-formers"
Do not worry about it, you can create LORA without it.
When you do a "Lora" you do not exactly use the "Dreambooth" section or
the "Dreambooth TI" (which stands for T.I. = Textual Inversion)
you will be using the "dreambooth Lora" section and just work on the
menu inside that area.

Go back to those 3 videos I posted before, and watch it slowly and
see what you might have missed downloading to make things work.
It is a little complicated to understand because even all of this is
very new to me.

What I did was use 4K-Downloader and downloaded all of the 3 videos from
YouTube , so I can follow the step-by-step instructions on my PC at home
on how to install everything, AND also use it when I am creating the LORA.
That way I dont always have to log into youtube all the time,
to look at the video there.

Just those 3 videos have helped me alot.

After doing a few of these LORA for awhile, I might not need to look at the
video instructions, because this is really very easy to do.

The thing that ends up happening is following the steps as I go along, then when the training starts a lot of errors come up that don't seem to have a fix in the command prompt.

For example, with the first video, I have everything set-up as described, found a caption generator that worked but the moment the training is supposed to start I'm hit with a bunch of different text that looks nothing like what the video maker has, much it seeming to tell me that there are no images to work with, there's no directory, etc.

And a small update, it appears even trying to create Loras has caused insane problems with stable diffusion on my end so I'm going to have to uninstall and reinstall it all.

You are correct! This is ALOT of fun !
Either making pictures or art, you can have a great time using SD.
Keep in mind that you also need a Good solid written script "Negative prompt"
which will tell your A.I. which things NOT to create.
Take a look at the images posted at Civitai. On the right side of the screen
when you look at an image, there is posted the positive Prompt used to
make that image , AND the Negative prompt used.
Copy one of those "NEgative prompts" and use it on your SD main menu
when you create an image or artwork.
Everything written on it is a "NO". Which means, the A.I. will not create
it.
OTherwise, without a good written negative prompt, you may see weird
stuff being created.... I once saw a Britney Spears with 3 boobs !
