A new pair of tennis/athletic/walking/running shoes, whatever they call it nowadays.
In my youth we just call them sneakers. I have the old pair for a year and wore them every day all day at work and going to places and had no issue until last week we had a big rain and I stepped in a puddle of water that was maybe only 1/4 inch deep and my entire sock enclosed feet got wet. There was a 1 inch opening at the side where the dark color ends and the white color started (photo below) Didn't even know it was there. I paid about $40 for the old pair by Nike and I loved them. Couldn't find the same exact model with the same color either. |

The God Of War Collection for the PS Vita. I already own the PS3 version of the game but my PS3 is starting to act up.

Bought a nice barstool for my patio from a scratch and dent store. Original price was 99.98; I paid 14.98.
Considering that my patio furniture consists of two benches thrown away by a shoe store and a chair made from recycled shipping pallets, the new barstool is outstanding. It is also comfortable, oscillating, and relatively weather proof. |

Windshield Water Reservoir and pump for my old 1997 Mercedes. Just arrived by UPS. God I love how easy they make Mercedes to repair. I just did the brakes and all I had to do is pull a pin remove a spring clip, pull out the old shoes and then drop in the new, drop in the clip and put the pin back in. 30 minutes for the Mercedes and 3 hours for a Ford or GM.

It's September.
There are several people in my life including a sibling and long time friends and their children who have mid to September birthdays. I bought 13 birthday greeting cards plus 7 gift cards for retail stores and restaurants and Apple iTunes and Uber ranging from $25-50 each. Them birthday greeting cards ain't cheap. Even a small one is about $5. Some sell as high as $11, especially the ones that play music when you open them. Do this every year. It gets very expensive. |
