Spinning fucking KICK at the champion, 2 weeks before fight of his life, where he would earn some real money for the 1st time in his amazing fighting life.
His trainers should go now, find some bridge, and jump off. How he can have at least 4-8 trainers and not one had brain to say "just a sec guys, get some rib/head protection if you gonna kick 145 lbs champion!". I was counting days for 4 months now. I love Mini Mendes , but I will cheers for CM so much... Don't need to see Aldo-Mendes 3 at Rio for the 3rd time. At least we will see if CM can be dry humped for the 5 rounds by a wrestler. We will see his ground game finally. |

I still haven't watched the prelims - but the main card was pretty epic. Every single fight was intense. I really hope we get to see Aldo/McGregor next - but there's talk about it being McGregor/Edgar. |

What a card. Holy shit best card i can remember since 100. Those early body shots devastated Mendes' cardio.
Im worried about Conors td defence and guard but then again Silva never had the best td defence or guard but was still super dominant. Apparently Conor also had a knee injury. |

UFC & Reebok
OK. The UFC summer silly season is nearly over and I'm all but ODed on MMA. A really good summer of fisty-cuffs with some spectacular fights. McGregor wins interim title, Dillishaw beats the crap out of Barao for the second time, and Rousey making short work of Correia, to mention just a few of the higher profile fights. All good stuff.
But something that's been bothering me is the UFC Reebok deal. All the fighters now appear in bland regulation Reebok uniforms. White shorts with a black stripe, or black shorts with a white stripe - take your pick. Personally I hate it. I'm not sure why this bothers me so much. After all it shouldn't make any difference as long as the fights are interesting and exciting. Why should it matter what the fighters wear? Apart from the fact that it is visually boring - the whole thing just stinks of corporate dominance. Just wondering if I'm the only one who feels this way? |

What can you then that hype is over, rosey is defeated by the boxings version of lesnar.
Like lensar came from wrestling and became the ufc champ, holms became the new champ tonight and by an outsider from outside the ufc. That what you get when you try outbox a former boxing champion, time to peg down your confidence rousey. |

Finally Rousey Got What She Deserves
Proof if it were needed that Rousey is ridiculously overrated. She is a very limited fighter and Holly made her look like an amateur. I couldn't help but laugh at how bad she was made to look once she had to face a competent opponent. I was almost embarrassed for her.

Folks are saying she lost because she spent too much time making movies and TV appearances and not enough training. Then to start the match she refused to fist bump (shake hands) Holm and thats an insult so that really made her mad.
