Long time follower, first time poster here, mainly because of characters posted from the last couple decades of movie. In particular, Heath Ledger's Joker.

It's obviously none of my business - or in fact place - to judge others' taste and choices. But constant choice of joker was beginning to make me think the thread should have been named something like "Who's your favorite movie villain, other than Joker"  Yet, last few posts encouraged the "classics" in me  Ladies and gentlemen please welcome Kasper Gutman AKA Fat Man at Maltese Falcon  This guy is analytical, pragmatic, funny, business minded, goal oriented (obsessively), motivated, gentleman (no nonsense, no tricks.. just focus on business) oh and have I mentioned how viciously cruel he is. Just watch and see at the end. No spoilers. Sorry  And Sydney Greenstreet is a great actor at delivering this character without any ham acting. You don't see him faking calm and confusing cold with a face without expression. He has every feelings expressed just good enough. Not too much. Great actor, great character  |

According to his Facebook page, William Smith "won" a "Best Villain" contest, having defeated (via votes) the late Lawrence Tierney.

WILLIAM SMITH won. If we're talking about mean and dangerous villains, he's a good choice. If we're talking lovable villains, then we're in the territory of Vincent Price, Peter Lorre, Bela Lugosi and Boris Karloff...all good choices. |

Movie Villian
To the first post, Denzel Washington is a badass bad guy, but my favorite villian of all time is the penguin from Batman Returns! I love a sick fuck!
