Otunga is there for his physique and education bragging rights.. I wish he'd piss off. Got three new talanted guys now from NXT, time to drop some of the dead weight. In other words.. Hornswoggle, Khali, Brodus, Otunga and why not JTG too lol. If they all tragically went missing I wouldn't give a rats.

I am still trying to understand what was the point of hiring Brodus? All he does is lose and dance with kids after his loss. I thought he was going to demolish a lot of wrestlers, but I thought Big Show was going to be the Big Man On Campus when he started wrestling. WWE execs sure as hell know how to waste talent. Hornswoggle made about as much sense as Santino. I think they need to drop stupid execs instead of wrestlers because I still think Brodus could demolish wrestlers like the Miz, Punk, and Dolph.

I agree with Outofmind. I like Brodus and he has the potential to be a high level star. I even like his gimmick with the dancing and the funkettes. What I don't like is all the jobbing and squash matches. He does have wrestling talent and I bet he could be decent on the mic. He musta pissed off HHH or something for him to be buried like he is.

He will be gone soon I reckon. Only reason he is still around is because of his act. Get another dancing clown in soon and he will be gone.

I see you asked why he was hired. you mentioned exactly why. He was hired to dance with kids. Kids enjoy his act, so I'm told.

I'm with you, AK. I've been pimping them for a long while, and it's great that they were able to get promoted from NXT to the main shows (without changing much of their shtick, that made that some great) and then overcome the AW bullshit and still get some mic time. The Real Deal Titus O'Neil is a future super-star, IMHO.

I was super angry/outspoken about Brodus Clay when he debuted early this year, but I'm honestly eating my words now. They didn't need another fearsome asskicking big heel, they needed a guy that gets an easy pop, puts on an easy match, and then gets the kids a chance to dance. He's the Junkyard Dog of 2012, and that's Ok with me. He gets a pop and gets the kids excited regardless if he wins or loses.

Punk is totally on another level from him, Ziggler is well on his way to that level and even Miz (whom I'm a fan of) is above him. Clay is perfect as a midcard face that beats heels that are lower than him and loses to heels that are above him. And then, one day, they'll turn him and make him a mid-card heel that does the opposite (loses to those above him/beats those below him); he won't, IMHO, ever be a main eventer one way or the other.

I don't think his job is in danger; I'd say the guys that aren't even on TV (Barretta, Hunico/Camacho, JTG, Mason Ryan, Zeke Jackson) should be prepping for the indy circuit and/or the int'l scene.

PTP on commentary was one of the few things I enjoyed on Raw. That's sad, but says a lot about Titus O'Neil.

One name that hasn't been mentioned as a future release is Evan Bourne. He has two Wellness Test violations and is still on the shelf. Had Linda not been running for Senate I think he'd have been cut when he injured himself.

I'm not sure about the three NXT guys. Rollins and Ambrose are no brainers. Rollins comes in as a heel and rehashes what he did with The Age of the Fall with ROH. Ambrose is a fantastic heel. Roman doesn't bring much, nor does he make sense. Rollins and Ambrose broke out as indy stars. Roman did not. He also really did not show that much in NXT. Ohno made much more sense.

Alex Riley - recovering from knee and elbow surgery
Christian - recovering from shoulder surgery
Curt Hawkins - knee surgery (MCL and Meniscus)
Derrick Bateman - recovering from knee surgery
Evan Bourne - broken foot
Ezekiel Jackson - recovering from upper body injuries
Hunico - knee surgery (ACL)
Mark Henry - recovering from groin injury and shoulder surgery

And that's not counting the guys that are on the roster but just haven't appeared lately like:
The Rock
Brock Lesnar
The Undertaker

That's eleven people that they can't use from week to week. Add in all the guys they still consider "developmental" or strictly house show filler and the list gets huge.
