With Raw having bad ratings (last week was the lowest in 15 years!), it's no surprise that the boss is back. WWE.com has confirmed that Vince McMahon will be on Raw tonight for a "State of the WWE Address".

Past "addresses" have seen changes occurr, sometimes big. Rumors have been running that AJ Lee and Booker T could be removed as GMs of their respective shows, and one (completely different) person being put in charge of both shows. Will be interesting to see what the boss will do tonight.

I'm not sure about Booker T and AJ being removed. The stuff with AJ last week was terrible, but it was mainly due to that other guy, what was the point of this guy? At least Dr Shelby was pretty amusing.

Maybe Vince to starts things off and maybe CM Punk comes to the ring and get in his face. I'm not sure. Vince just says Fuck it, I've totally lost it, Daniel Bryan vs CM Punk in a 60 minute iron man match tonight!. That would be shaking things up. Oh, we can't do that , man. Ratings , ratings, ratings. In what I am told was a "scary scene" backstage at Raw about an hour ago, Vince McMahon pretty much told the WWE Creative team that he wanted to see things change and that no one's job was safe if they didn't.

Perhaps to illustrate his point, Bryan Gewirtz, who has been the top writer for the company for a long time and especially oversaw the Raw side of things (Dave Kapoor wrote the show but everything went through Gewirtz, then Stephanie and Vince McMahon), has been dropped from the creative team and was sent home from Raw.

Gewirtz' official position was Senior Vice President of Creative Writing. Technically, he is still with the company as of this writing. Gewirtz being sent home was described as shocking to me and something that no one saw coming. One person told me they believed that he "fell on the sword" to show everyone else they can be replaced.

McMahon's declaration to the creative team comes just a week after the lowest rated Raw in 15 years last week. Since expanding to three hours, the flagship WWE series' ratings have slipped considerably, especially in the third hour.

As we noted in the Elite section of PWInsider.com last Monday, McMahon was visibly angry prior to Raw going on the air last week, although his mood lightened as the evening went on. The belief is that the pressure of getting ratings back up to where he and NBC Universal want them has been stressing.

Gewirtz has been working for WWE for over a decade.

Larry King on Raw. He is such a great fan after all. This is pretty comical to be fair. Maybe I've lightened up. Looks like Kofi and Miz might get into something, or they might not, it might just have been random.

wwe13. I've bought the game every year since ps2 wwf smackdown. Doesn't look all that much better this year than it did last year, or the year before or the year before. Just another hype job like everything else. Promises new shit and then it sucks. At least the Attitude Era is in it. That is their promotion tool this year. Attitude era. CM punk vs Vince was what you would expect. A brawl. A slow brawl that had a good finish. Vince survives, Ryback attacks, crowd went nuts for that , no doubt. It would have got louder if Ryback hit his finisher. Punk escapes , but Vince gives him a choice. CM Punk must face Ryback or John Cena at HIAC. He will go for Cena again I'm sure. Ryback will be at a later date I think. Tonight was just another tease. Feed me more

I'm really glad CM Punk slapped Vince as hard as he did, it really made me happy, and I will be on my feet if he does again next week. Vince and Ryback, who would've guessed, Ryback is Vince's bitch. I'm thinking if Punk doesn't decide, Vince will make it into a Triple Treat.

I think it will be best if Brock Lesnar comes back now. I think it will be a match like, Paul Heyman and CM Punk vs John Cena and Ryback, and Brock Lesnar comes to Paul E's rescue.

I know this is a story line, and that what CM Punk said about leaving again is a story line, but I tend to get carried away in these situations. Dammit, I love getting carried away, and this just means that I enjoyed watching RAW.

On a serious note, I think that guy who Punk hit has filed a police report, and apparently Punk broke his glasses. Who wears sun glasses indoors? A douchebag. I think Punk was set up here, maybe WWE did something to these ''fans'' to push him around, and Punk once said, ''I like to push back'', and now, it will bite him in the ass. WWE's a bitch.
