Have these database errors caused any posts to be deleted? I posted a request earlier in the Identify Models & Videos thread, but it's gone now. Didn't know if it might have been accidentally deleted by the errors and I should repost it, or wait to see if it's restored so that I don't get in trouble for posting the same request in the same day.

if it was in the identification thread, it's more likely a mod who removed it because you broke some rule(s)

Hmmm... I'm always pretty careful about that, but once before I did unknowingly broke a rule and the mod told me what it was. That's why I thought maybe it disappeared because of one of the board's technical errors. I'll have to try and see if I did do something that broke a rule.

several times again in the past 24 hours up to a minute ago when I only tried to open a thread to read it.

Still getting Database Errors – this problem seems to happen on a very regular basis and, unlike other sites, never seems to be satisfactoraly dealt with.

The folks running this site (server side) gotta be the worst IT guys on the planet. Its been like this for almost a week now.

wouldn't say worst. but to do it RIGHT.. your gonna have to do it with a bit of PAIN. Plan, then execute = shutting the site down for 4-5 days. They did it years ago. Worked wonders. Other sites also have created a new site altogether with the newer VB but kept the other one active. I tend to use the older one but the older one has issues. ie only so long before XP eventually kicks the bucket without official support. although someone is coming up with a Service Pack 4 (Unofficial)
