how much can be loaded at SHO?

"Guests as well as free collective access get assured by us 500MB per hour. If you load for example 5 MB, you can load in the next hour the remaining 495 MB. If you do not load any other (smaller) files, you can load instead e.g. directly 500 MB and for the remaining hour nothing more. There is no hourly limit for owners of a premium account. But for safety reasons of the operator there is a maximum limit for downloads per day and per week. This step became necessary in order to prevent the continually occurring Account-Sharing or a takeover of Accounts by third parties. All values are intentionally very high, in order to never bring normal users to this stage.

Every user, who however reaches these values, should think about the necessity or sense of the accumulated quantity of data ;-).
Currently the following values are implemented:

- 100 GB per day
- 450 GB per week (this limitation will only be reached if multiple day limits were reached what should happend very rarely)

Everyone, who exceeds this limit, must reckon with a reduction of his bandwidth and the maximum connections, until the calculated rate is under both limits again."



that is more than fair - i've never reached my weekly limit so far and when i see how poor and expensive the premium offers at filejoker and filefox are,i think it should be more than one cool hoster(uploaded) be available at PS.
zippyshare(free and fast) is not longer available in germany and uk i think so.
SHO has also paysafecard friendly prices like steps in 10/25/50/100€ (or cashtocode)
i like to have control over my OCH services that means i do not accept hoster who offers no "one way premium tickets".
rapidgator,filefox and filejoker do not offer that - they take every month or 3 three months ect. automatically money from my creditcard.
And what happens when one of this OCH going offline for ever?
creditcard trouble!
so i prefer prepaid payments.
uploaded and share-online are momently the reference OCH in middle europe like megaupload and rapidshare in the good old times - that's a fact.

The Planet prioritises hosts that make it easy for non-paying users to download from, not those that require a paid membership as a requirement to easily download a file at a reasonable speed.

If this premise was dropped, there would be absolutely nothing to distinguish us from the countless adult forums dominated by cashwhores...

i'm sure you have not tested SHO in free - i have it (firefox with add-on ublock origin).
results:
file 1: 50mb size
captcha - waitingtime around 45-60 seconds than 200kb/s speed = 5 minutes.
after downloading that file i have clicked just for fun on a second link(110mb) - surprise,surprise! no pause - captcha - waitingtime again around 45-60 seconds and again 200kb/s speed.
after that i have made a 15 minutes break and watched NHL icehockey - than i have tested a third link - this time 980mb and again captcha - 45 seconds waiting and a speed around 190-220 kb/s = download finished in around 80 minutes and that in FREE!
that is very user friendly and exactly what you have written with making it easy for free downloaders!

"cashwhores" do not use SHO(normally) - they use(as example) filejoker because they offer only 10GB daily in premium and the goal is to sell more than one premium account to the same person.
or they torture us at filejoker with thousands of small picsets and a freeuser has to wait 3-5 hours for the next 20mb picset.

We allow SOL at VEF and because it stunk so much for full movies, posts got mirrored immediately in the section where we allow preferred host mirrors like 1fichier and uptobox.

As a result the one guy using it switched to another host.

A big request to add the file hosting service http://mx-sh.net to the list allowed ones. I know that on this forum the main rule is to be able to download free. This file sharing service provides such an opportunity. This file sharing service has the highest wagers for the tariff plan pay per download. This tariff plan will appeal to webmasters and also to those people who download files free.

I would like to make a suggestion. I think we all agree that we need different/new file/image host from time to time. It's bit frustrating for uploaders to keep changing their host eveytime and upload the same data to a different host(s). Can we please whitelist http://mirrored.io as an approved mirror creator site to upload files to multiple hosts at the same time and use the link accordingly?

In my opinion, this would solve a lot of time for the up- to keep shifting their data from one host to another.

Also, mirrored.io already includes most of the approved hosts from here. Therefore, it shouldn't be a trouble for the administration to allow those link, I suppose?

You can also request for your preferred host to be added to the list if it isn't there already.

Kindly share your suggestion and I hope you will take my suggestion into consideration.
