on a second thought: you are the pink borscht, aren't you? How does it come that you have so many problems with so many hosts that nobody else has? Are you still affiliated to the oron mafia from that other forum? |

Any Host that don't support Free User Download with any popular Download Manager is a big joke for me
Until today, i never download anything from Gator. Always get blank connection when IDM download dialogue appeared. I know i can use my browser default download...but hey...they should know if IDM and JD are popular Download Manager that most peoples used.

Well I manged to get two files totaling about 200mb. Now some 12 hours later I can't download anything else & just keep seeing the message "You can`t download not more than 1 file at a time in free mode" even though I'm not downloading anything.
It's like all filehosts suck balls now. |

Used rapidgator several times as free user, at least it is way faster than rapidshare Sure, RS has no captchas and you can download one file after another ... but the major drawback is imho, as a premium user you can't download more than 15 gb a day (and the site tells 20 GBs per day (FAQ)). Sure, the limits are also in depositfiles, but DP is way faster!

New issue today with RG:
Attempted to download two files less than 50mb that were both "interrupted" less than 8mb's in. In an attempt to reload/refresh/retry the link the session times out and I recieve a 500 error message. So, can I just wait 15 minutes like it asks after a successful download? Nope, but I do get this: You have reached your daily downloads limit. Please try again later. Don`t want to wait? Upgrade to Premium and forget about delays! I'm not going to give my money to a service that doesn't seem to work or work well consistently, so I guess I'll just have to hope that these files are still good 24 hours from now. Or I can check PS for threads that host the content on other filehosts and download from someone else who uses a filehost that doesn't cause so much consternation. Man, I really thought that RG was back on the ball and they would move up the ladder of my favorite filehosts... Just my issue with RG here in the Pacific Northwest running 20gb Comcast. Using Chrome with no interruptions with any filehost service today nor any concurrent when I attemtpted my RG dl's, either. Using an IP blocker/proxy has no effect. * This post doesn't mean the whole world goes thru this same RG problem that I am experiencing and this is only intended to be a fellow member sharing his frustrations (with the hope it also reaches content posters who use a service that I cannot use and therefore, they cannot earn from me. |

Rapidgator does appear to have improved and very recently I was able to dowload 2 files as a free downloader. One was in fact over 500mb and the other over 200mb. I hope this means they are starting to get their act together. I still find depositfiles very unreliable.
