The only thing more wooden than the ships is Keira knightley and orlando blooms acting. Sure there are really bad low budget films but i can forgive them for being bad due to the lack of money. For when a company blows $300,000,000 (estimated) and end up with this messy overlong pile of shite it's staggering |

There are movies that could be described as "so bad it's good..."
Last edited by jdbAG; 28th April 2012 at 20:07.
This is not one of those movies - It's just plain bad! Hollywood took an absolutely amazing show and turned it into a real shitbomb. Words cannot describe my hatred for this awful Shyamalanized epic! Thank goodness for "The Legend of Korra" - It singlehandedly saved the franchise from obscurity and despair! (NOW AIRING EVERY SATURDAY MORNING ON NICKELODEON!) |

They could have made a good Double Dragon movie too, even in PG-13. The premise is easy enough to work with.

Rubber
it makes me wonder about the sense of humor of the story writer. |

Another entry to be classified would be Dungeons and Dragons.

Yeah, the storyline of the game could have been adapted for a movie. But the problem would be finding a writter and director who could produce a good live action adapation.

Silent Hill had the look...but didn't follow the first game's story, and diverted into this whole other original story that just didn't click for me. And then the Resident Evil movies, again, departing from source material...I haven't had any interest in those since the first flick. Not survival horror enough...and the first flick had neither Jill Valentine or Chris Redfield or Wesker, but an original protagonist played by Milla Jovovich, who I think was involved or married to the director. |
