Noodle, you can get an account for crissakes from rapidshare for $10 a month. I also buy accounts from hotfile, depositfile, rapidgator, and filefactory. I wish we had a place here which is kept current about which download sites are still effective. I have dropped megaupload, oron, fileserve and filesonic. The last two I would ever drop are rapidshare and deposit. If you use the rapidshare search engine, you also find, besides a lot of porn, a lot of great old movies like High Noon, and Casablanca, and old tv series like the Mary Tyler Moore show, Maverick, Have Gun, Will Travel. But I enjoy this site and its cousin VEF. I don't understand 1995 cutoff, but it does allow my favorites like Annette Haven and Angel. If I were in charge of setting the terms, I would ban tattoos, piercings, bolt-ons, and you would never see Ron Jeremy here.

Index for vintage movies
Am I missing something or wasn't there an index for vintage movie titles? I can't seem to be able to find it.
Thanks! |

I would like to propose a minor but potentially helpful rule change for movie submissions.
This proposal would be thus: Under this rule all members making movie submissions are to review the content of their submission prior to posting. If the submission is found to be a "softcore" title, they would then be required to note this in the "Title" field of the post, as well as in the main body or "Message" field (with the latter being also preferred but optional to the enforceable former). This suggestion is in lieu of their being 2 distinct content forums for "softcore" and "hardcore" movies as there is at other forums such as VEF. An additional suggestion would be for the word "softcore" to be capitalized in the "Title" field in order to gain the attention of potential downloaders who either seek to build a softcore collection, or those who seek to exclude softcore titles from their hardcore collection. Example: Grimm's Fairy Tales for Adults Only (1969) SOFTCORE To the Mods: thank you for considering this suggestion. |

^ I know that. If my suggestion was taken up, Mods wouldn't have to do it as much, because the onus would be on the person submitting the movie

There are other things that members could do, or not do (not to mention any names) that would make our jobs easier other than the aforementioned. I appreciate the suggestion non-the-less. Duly noted AND ADDED

I want to upload 3 movies a day so I go into my vast collection and pick 3 movies at random and they always turned out to be something that is already posted. |
