Actually that would NOT be a bad thing. Laurenitis was great at being a heel GM you loved to hate. Just like everyone hates Vicki and her annoying "excuse me" we forget how good a job they are doing in their roles. I would rather see Ace back then the AJ era we have now.

Just finished watching Raw. Yes, I know I'm behind, but it's been an eventful and...hallucinogenic week for me so I've been in the dark for most of the goings on. Here are my thoughts.
CM Punk/Paul Heyman As much as I despise Heyman, I can see what they're doing with him here, and I'm loving it. Punk has been the best heel in his career as of late. In the past, he has merely thought himself superior, but now he knows it and he's willing to go through who he has to go through for the world to admit it. That's cool. I liked the way he walked out on his match with Sheamus in his hometown as well. It's no longer about giving the people what they want to see, it's not about action or wins or losses, it's about fact. The fact is, he's WWE champion, and everything else is trivial. That's his mindset, and that mindset is why I've always been a fan of heels. That's why I liked Roddy Piper and Ric Flair and fucking Raven. It's why I liked the NWO before it became cool to like them, and that's why I still wore the black and white after the Finger Poke of Doom. For a good heel to really go over, and I mean really go over, the world has to see that the brass rings no longer matter. Before Punk walked out with the WWE title in summer 2011, he said that like Brock Lesnar, he's a Paul Heyman guy. That's obviously Creative's mindset here, and if they don't royally fuck it up, this could play out well. Now, next week, Punk is going to come out with Heyman and state his case. He's going to say that Heyman opened his eyes and cleared his mind by telling him what he already knew. Lesnar won't be there, of course, but references will be made to him. Cena will come out and say that Punk lost his way and go off on another tirade about how he's worked his ass off to become Superman, but the crowd will still boo him and cheer Punk. Punk will walk out to make a statement and it will go on from there. I believe we can expect a lot more of these walkouts, but you know what? At this point it's not about putting on matches. This is entertainment of a different kind, and it's what you do when you're the top heel. I never thought I would say this, but Paul Heyman might be instrumental in making this company worth a shit again. I'm looking forward to the advancement of this storyline. Whether it plays out the way I think it will or not, at least Creative is getting their hands dirty. AJ Lee You guys know how I feel about this chicka. She's purdy, but she's also one hell of an actress. The side of her that we saw on Raw is a side of her that I adore. I love when she loses her fucking mind, and only now she has no one to manipulate. That can be dangerous. I can only hope that she doesn't get shafted as the Raw GM. Sure, she's unstable, but it's fucking adorable and I've seen dozens of worse GMs. If she goes back to the roster, who will take over? Another washed out ex-wrestler? A computer? Fuck that. I'll stick with the crazy chick. When she was first introduced as the Raw GM, I thought it would be a joke, but she's proven her character to be more than that and she really is a great actress. So much of the art of professional wrestling is acting, and the trade is filled with hundreds of terrible actors, but she can actually pull it off. When Vickie manipulated her, the look on her face told the whole story. She sold that with no words better than I've seen anyone sell a gimmick in years. It's not a joke anymore-- this chick is legitimate, and let's face it, she's the only chance Raw has. I say that they need to play this out. Let her bash Vickie's thunder thighs in. Let her throw tantrums like an insanely hot little girl (not how that sounds). I'm loving it. Kane/Brian Danielson These segments were actually just about as hilarious as it gets. The buildup was perfection. I wish they would've left it with the hug and the handshake, though. I could've cried at that point if I were a weaker man. Conclusion Yeah, other things happened on Raw, but I only talk about the things that matter-- cute Latinas and the wrestlers I mark out for. |

We need a stable, like 2 backup players to run in out of the blue during John Cena vs CM Punk , if it got made into a no dq match. Big Show, he was with Heyman before, Daniel Bryan ? yeah it sounds pretty fucked up after Bryan and Punk were feuding all year, and maybe this could get Bryan over as a babyface when he starts arguing with CM Punk. This fantasy could work. Chances of it happening 0% seems like everybody is on the same page about having Paul Heyman with CM Punk. AJ Lee . Are you still high? great actress? I don't really mind her. I don't watch raw live now so I can skip a lot, and I've never been with girls that get on this way. I've seen tantrums and shit, but it's your opinion so it's cool. I didn't watch the thing with her and Vickie. Its good that she isn't really sticking her nose in the main event, like Big Johnny was. I still want Kane and Daniel Bryan to team up. It could be the greatest WWE tag team in years. Brock Lesnar is a jobber. |

I see the next person CM Punk gonna try to have him say he is the best in the world is Bret Hart he'll get under his skin by saying he's "The Best There Is", "The Best There Was" ",The Best That Ever Will Be" and of course it in his home country so he can use that to get some more heat on him and he'll probably give Bret a GTS for good measure.

I think that will happen. I'm not sure about the GTS. Bret doesn't take any bumps now. I'd have Cena come out and help Bret in the middle of a Punk and Bret confrontation, and at the end of the show, Cena is standing tall. Punk has been standing tall at the end of Raw for a while now, so this could be the perfect time for Cena, since he is with Bret.
I'm guessing Punk will win at night of champions |

This is Daniel Bryan showing the camera guy/interviewer that the anger management classes are working. From this week's Backstage Fallout.
As far as AJ's concerned, one aspect in acting in pro wrestling, is facial expressions. While I feel at times she takes too long to get a point across, playing the character a bit too much there, her facial expressions are her strong suit. That's why what Cole said was a "nervous breakdown," was nice. |

Yeah I agree, this Brogue kick storyline is pretty ridiculous. What about when other wrestlers do similar boot to the face kicks? (ex. Kane)
