Watching MasterChef UK. Now I've seen it all. Oven roasted peaches? HOW HUNGRY does one have to become to roast a peach in the oven? I love peaches and it's one of my favorite fruits... in a COBBLER or in a PIE!! If i was served this at a restaurant I wouldn't pay for it. Even the 2 main hosts of the show and 3 guest judges for this episode were not impressed. They also had an episode where one contestant oven baked pears in brandy. Fresh fruits are NOT meant to be cooked IF they are not going to be incorporated into some kind of SWEET PASTRY!!

I watched a cooking show once where they were BBQueing watermelon. Like, OH MY GOD! Like-TOTALLY! SO GRODY!! It's like BARF ME OUT... Gag me with a spoon! FER SURE!!

I was a teenager during the 70s, and that show doesn't show in the slightest what is was really like back then.

If you dig the era, I strongly suggest you watch Cameron Crowe's film Almost Famous (2000) to get a feel of what it was like.

Prison Break

IMO the Walking Dead has really gone downhill recently. Talk about an anti-climatic season finale. Especially since the immediate run-up to it was so badly constructed, which you could have forgiven if the finale was great. If they made a few adjustments it would have been more bearable. Hopefully it'll get interesting when it recommences later this year.
