Except that they don't allow pornographic images!

The following types of files constitute "abuse" and may not be uploaded under any circumstances, when using Imageshack's Image Hosting :

* Pornographic files. This includes, but is not limited to, files depicting genitalia, nudity, or sexual situations.
* Files that are illegal and/or are in violation of any United States laws.
* Files that infringe on the copyrights of any entity excluding the user.
* Non-image or non-video files. This includes archived non-image files.
* Files intending to harass or spam, or promote anything for commercial profit.

And btw, both .com and .us are actually the same site, as the .com version is not there anymore, it redirects you to the .us .

I had never visited *************** (due to it being banned here), and used http://**************/ in good faith.

If the former re-directs to the latter, there must have been some changes: this is probably why imageshack today is a reliable service, without pop-ups or other annoying features.

If indeed http://**************/ is also banned, I would arge the Admins to look again at this service ancd see for themselves that it is no longer a nuisance.

I totally agree, but this is different as they do delete porn images even if nobody reported it. And from my personal experience with them I absolutely don't recommend joining ImageShack even if it's on the white-list here . . they deleted my account with all my collection of photos without any prior notice or even warning! Surprisingly It didn't contain any porn material!

Personally I use Imagevenue for thumbs and Pimpandhost for hotlinking and both are working great . . . so far!

You might want to examine the post before mine before committing to that statement. And see what is going on. Random deletion, even of recent uploads.
