I think the only reason HHH looked good in the ring at 1000 against Brock was because Brock "let HHH" look good. When Brock was just shoulder-punching HHH in the corner, he stopped and that was when HHH made it to the other corner to throw Brock out the ring. I figure Brock will be used less than UT, so Brock has to wing sometimes. Is it "best for business" to let Brock win the first one? Then HHH can keep "calling him out for a re-match."

That would be the nature of the contract that Brock signed at play- iirc he signed a limited appearance contract. They'll make him appear just enough to keep him relevant and in the fan's minds.

That being said, if he lost to HHH at SummerSlam, ehh. I wouldn't be so mad actually, he gets what he wants in the end, a big paycheck. Of course if Lesnar won, that's "good for business" as he gains momentum to being a top heel attraction for Wrestlemania 29. Quote:
Thinking about what happened on RAW, there does seem to be a positive to the 3rd hour. The biggest negative so far was recap madness, but positives included. Seeds were planted in feuds: Sandow/Clay, Tensai/Kidd. Feuds were developed: two in 1 tag team match with Christian/Jericho vs. Ziggler/Miz; Punk's heel turn approaching with Cena and Show on the ride; tag team championship battle between R-Kingston and Primetime Players seems to be imminent; D-Bryan/AJ with Kane maybe consulted by the GM to give Bryan some "anger management"; Del Rio now not wrestling until SummerSlam by his own volition. HHH/Lesnar will continue. So, that's a lot of components leading to SummerSlam, not possible with a 2 hour RAW. Furthermore, there might be a template forming with 3 premiere matches in one show. This week saw Bryan/Sheamus showing off the "RAW Active" gimmick, the tag team match, and Cena/Big Show. If the Divas were to actually replace most of the recaps happening, they would've gotten at least 6 minutes. |

"I'm a poet and didn't know it. What would be best for business, the Rock's popularity or Brock's kick-ass style? I guess all the other champions would have a say in this, too.

Punk's poster is actually cool as hell. Although it makes him look like a Kevin Thorn ripoff.

Reason: I want a white coat.
The Punk poster is certainly better. Maybe a little too dark for the kids . Had a wee look at pwinsider. Not that anybody gives a rats ass, but the men in white coats. Quote:

I saw RAW tonight, and I agree with CMPunk's explanation. I do not think he is "the greatest wrestler," but he is the greatest "voice of the voiceless." I was never a real Punk-fan, but he does make sense when he talks. I think everything he has said has always been true.
I did rewind to the beginning, but I watch RAW for wrestling, not to hear them. Tonight, I was in the kitchen while RAW started. Oh yeah, what does anybody else think of ADR? Has anybody else wondered why does he get announced twice. First, the regular announcer announces "ADR's personal ring announcer, Ricardo Rodriguez," and then Ricardo comes out with an 11 second announcement.

That is what makes this so beautiful . He is certainly not the best wrestler in the world. The Punk diehards might think otherwise , but that is why they are Punk diehards ( or delusional )
what makes it beautiful is that everything he said was true. The Rock is a delusional movie star now - check , he did to Rock what Cena couldn't do - check ( I guess) etc etc These are the sort of turns I like . Not rushed for the sake of it . Cold and calculating. Gives us something to look forward to. Amen. |

I have always been a fan of slow planned well thought out storytelling in wrestling. I hate when they do stuff that makes me go WTF??? and scratch my head at how stupid the decision is. Rock over Cena, Hornswaggle as mystery GM and AJ as GM are the 3 most recent bad decisions. Seriously did anyone that follows wrestling see AJ as the next GM? Or Hornswaggtle? I like to be surprised but all three of those decisions seem horrible.
