According to PWInsider.com, Melina tore her MCL at a house show in Manchester, New Hampshire ... not sure how long she'll be out yet, but it's a sad loss regardless. She put on fun matches, and was fun to look at.

I heard about Melina--I hope she is ok since it seemed the wwe was pushing for a serious feud between Melina and Maryse. As for Diva matched I am always looking for HQ versions of the Santa Helper Matches--those are hot. I got the last one but Im not sure if i got last years...

Yeah, it's really sad about Melina. Other than being hot, she's one of the rare divas in WWE that can actually put on a good match if booked right.

Freazkilla - It's tough to find HD (or even decent quality SD) versions of the Santa's Little Helper matches, but here's one; it's from the 2008 Armageddon PPV (And, unfortunately, includes the post-match stuff with Khali)

And in regards to Steve Williams' passing: He was one of my favorites in the late early 90s when he teamed with Terry "Bam Bam" Gordy as the Miracle Violence Connection. Most of their best work was in Japan, but they did a run in WCW where they had a bunch of fun matches against the Steiner Brothers.

Having said that, he was facing daily chemo treatments to stay alive so he'd stopped taking them. I'm hoping he didn't suffer much before passing.

I don't think you were being offensive at all.

He was definitely old-school. He was passed his prime when he made appearances during the Monday Night War years, but his stuff in the mid-80s through the early 90s were as good as anyone in the business, IMHO. He's got some famous tag matches that are worth watching.

If memory serves, the "Brawl for All" tough-guy tournament that the WWF put on was actually supposed to be a showcase of his legit toughness. Instead Bart Gunn KO'd him and ruined the whole plan ... it's what they get for trying to put on a shoot tournament with a certain script in mind. (And I'm pretty sure he only appeared in WCW afterwards because he was pissed at how it went down in the WWF.)

As an update on the Melina injury situation from the WWE house show in Manchester, New Hampshire this past Tuesday night, the WWE Diva did in fact suffer a torn ACL.

Melina was in Syracuse the following night on crutches backstage at the show. According to F4WOnline.com, Melina may need surgery to repair the ACL, although that is not a guarantee.
