Just added a new show to my viewing list:
TABOO This excellent drama series is set in 1814, is executive produced by Ridley Scott and Tom Hardy, who also created the show, and is the main lead actor. Co-starring are Oona Chaplin, David Hayman, and Jonathan Pryce. I most certainly recommend it to all.

I only recently discovered a show that is about one year old, but that somehow passed me by:
OUTSIDERS I was hooked within minutes of episode one. It tells the story of some present day isolated mountain people in the Appalachian hills (some would call them 'hillbillies'), whose home and way of life are threatened by a greedy coal-mining corporation. In simplistic terms, it's a little like Sons of Anarchy meets Avatar meets Deliverance. All done with good acting, good settings, and good cinematography.

On a whim I checked out a show with Kristen Bell and Ted Danson, called "The Good Place". The wife and I ended up binge watching all 13 episodes of the first deason. Bell plays a young woman who dies, and through mistaken identity, makes her way to "the good place" a sort of after-life paradise, where only the best of the best people get in. Ted Danson is in charge of the place. Pretty funny, and a fairly original show. If you ever watched "Pushing Daisies", it has the same kind of vibe. Bright vibrant colors and whimsical humor.

Lets see,
Hell's Kitchen, no matter the new season i still love seeing who can cook and wins the finale, its not new, but Gordon Ramsey is still must see Tv Blue Bloods, still watch every Tbs repeat of Seinfeld if im not working. Also a favorite is a show on TruTv called Impractical jokers, its about 4 lifelong friends who compete and dare eachother on a hidden camera show to do outrageous stunts and tasks and whoever gets the most 'thumbs down' at the end gets punished. Its entering its 6th season. great show, you will think its hilarious. I also never miss Madam Secretary, watch it if political dramas are your thing |

I used to watch Criminal Minds fanatically, but in the last season with the 2 main male stars gone, its really lost its footing and isn't as good. Hopefully they agree to come back, or it just gets cancelled

Tonight, I came across the new 4th episode of Season 2 of The Expanse.
How come I've never heard of this show before? Now I am scrambling to find all 10 episodes from Season 1 and the first 3 episodes of Season 2. |
