One thing I've noticed lately is the availability of Jules Jordan videos or lack thereof. In the past for any of his releases there would be umpteen posts but lately there's none and another thing that I find odd is that no one even requests these new missing scenes. Anyone else notice this?

hey, while trying to find examples for the last post, i noticed that neither leeanne scott nor kaila yu are listed on IAFD. what gives? is there a MINIMUM number of films needed to qualify?

I kinda get both of these a bit. That being said most of my favorite stuff was never in HD so I have to work with what I have. I've noticed most of the low resolution/low bitrate stuff is a result of the proliferation of streaming sites. The horrible compression can absolutely destroy a video. I guess I'd have to say I'd ideally go for stuff like lossless DVD/Blu-Ray rips if we're talking 480P/720P videos. That way even if it's lower resolution, the bit rate hasn't been tanked by streaming.

God. That trend is probably the closest thing I've seen to an aesthetic become literally dehumanizing. The lighting feels like the bought the brightest lights possible and set the all to max at all times. It really does make normal, real human beings look as robotic as possible. As much as I actually do like P-HD scenes, the world those types of videos exist in make it look like the only architectural style that exists is "Apple Store". Like... gotta turn the brightness down on the TV to make it look semi-normal.

It was one of the many businesses that got a MASSIVE uptick from the pandemic (mostly from other's going under/not being able to operate and pay employees). Now that most people are vaccinated and COVID is slowly leaving the public consciousness over time, it's becoming a less attractive platform for producer and consumer along (see also: Netflix and other streaming sites).
