I admit I didn't like a few match results, but the PPV was still very solid. |

I wasn't a fan of Kaz vs What's-his-name, who should be a heel because he comes off like a fucking douche or Mia vs Mickie (I was hoping Mia would win) but the rest of the show was solid. Impact is so good right now, definitely better than AEW. I don't miss a Thursday and I wish everyone would realize this shit isn't Dixieland anymore.
Everyone is starting to catch on about AEW and they were in a smaller venue for their anniversary show because tickets just ain't selling. I watched both shows Friday and wasn't impressed. I'm worried Paige is going to be permanently paralyzed by one of these green girls. |

I know what it probably is, they aren't in big venues with a WWE like atmosphere. Once your hooked on that as the norm for wrestling, everything else looks cheap, except for something unique. Also Impact has got rep as a feeder system, so we're gonna see the greats from there elsewhere eventually anyway.
It's like a great band not getting spotlighted except typically fans of them want them to stay underground because that's their thing they don't want to ruin. Wrestling fans want WWE like production and venues but then there's that subset who want underground wrestling. It's all convoluted stuff and not sure I really explained it at all. Look at ROH in AEW, I really want that to go away, but why, it's wrestling, but it's "lesser brand" on a bigger show and the bigger isn't making the lesser any better. Jericho no doubt making himself ROH champ has made it look even more stupid. I know they'll have the stand up good guy that represents ROH eventually beat him but who cares. They already ran Gresham out and he was all for ROH and is arguably as good as Bryan, maybe better, except he gets little recognition. Alright, I'm not going anywhere with any of this, so I'll shut up now. |

What happened with Page? Did he break his leg like Sid doing his buckslip tear quad lariat? I honestly don't know. I haven't read yet other than Page injury blah and that was enough. I still can't stand the guy for getting away with what he did scot-free. I feel like I might watch again now he's fucked off lol.

So he did a flip and landed on his head and that's why the old grouchy wrestler guys tell ya. The drain bamage might actually help him see through his fat fucking ego from getting over for a few months and not wanting to take advice. He probably still won't. Punk has fully incited the injustice side of me unfortunately and it's not going away. I guess I'm leaving it to them to make me want to make it go away. So far it hasn't happened. Of course landing on his head should bring out some empathy in me, but not really, he could have landed flat and been fine, so it was all on him and he needs to be told that. Khan is probably doing the opposite though. Ah, it was just an error, it happens sorta thing. He won't learn from it and will continue. He had his Punk jump the barrier injury moment. Something he didn't need to do. I bet Punk was laughing his ass off.
