THAT would have been a better episode in my opinion.

The integrity of the show must come first. As it was it looked ridiculous seeing an overweight women looking for food because she'd barely eaten for ages. It was a joke.

I also thought the story-line in that episode was unnecessary. It wasn't progressive at all. Although I have a suspicion that camp and others (Hill Top Colony and King Ezekiel) will eventually team up with Alexandria to take on Negan. So maybe that and introducing new characters was the only point of that episode.

To be fair, there are men who are overweight too, like Eugene Porter. I personally don't think Tara is. Especially if you compare her to the late Denise Cloyd or that woman who administered the armoury. Maybe someone should advise Tara to wear a bra, even if it's just for the running scenes.

Remember HBO and Spielberg and Hanks made Band of Brothers and then The Pacific.

Then they said they were doing the next 10 episodes mini-series on the US Army Air Force in Europe during World War II: the 8th Air Force that bombed Germany and most of German occupied Europe.

Whatever happened to it?

I can't find anything about it on IMBD or WIKI no matter how I search for it (Spielberg or Playtone or HBO or Dreamworks SKG, etc etc)

It's not listed under Spielberg's IMDB upcoming production list:

I think it is or was going to be called 'Masters of the Sky' based on the novel by the same name by Donald. L Miller. IMDB say the development and filming for it has began, but there doesn't seem to be any publicity about it now. Maybe they've postponed it due to Spielberg's and Hanks' other responsibilities. Or it's not happening at all since it has been several years since they first announced it.

The series is called "Masters of the Air" and filming began on it two years ago. As far as I can tell, it has no release date yet . . . I'd guess it's in post-production by now. "Band of Brothers" was an excellent series, and "The Pacific" was pretty good too, so hopefully this one will measure up when it's finally released. Here are a few excerpts from a 2015 Reelbrief article about it:

The “Mighty Eighth“, as they were called due to their heavy bomber effectiveness, contributed greatly to the defeat of Hitler and Germany. This upcoming HBO Spielberg-Hanks production is based upon the non-fiction narrative by Donald L. Miller entitled “Masters of the Air: America’s Bomber Boys Who Fought the Air War Against Nazi Germany“.

This new WWII television series will be titled “Masters of the Air“–not to be confused with movie trailers released last year for the “Mighty Eighth“. While HBO and Spielberg are keeping their filming cards close to the vest on this WWII film project, some details have emerged.

Eighth Air Force“Masters of the Air” filmed in Savannah, Georgia last fall. Now, we see reports in the past month out of England that Spielberg and Hanks may have taken their cameras to film at one of the most historic airfields of the war, RAF Manston.

If filming is now underway in England, and specifically at RAF Manston, perhaps a German location is next.

I didn't care for The Pacific the first time I watched it. About a month ago I watched it again on Amazon Prime and enjoyed it greatly. Almost weird how much I appreciated it more the second time.

The Man In The High Castle is back for a second season.

All 20 episodes were released by Amazon for Prime members yesterday and they are slowly one by one finding their way on the net for free download.

My bad, there are only 10 episodes in the 2nd season of The Man In The High Castle.

I was looking on the Amazon page for it and it had 10 episodes and then 10 behind the scenes episodes which made me thought it was a 20 episodes season because Amazon numbered those behind the scenes episodes 11-20.
