Nice to see 10 back. Though, I believe he's actually 11 since the "War Doctor" turned out to be the 9th. And he was number 12 as well, as it was pointed out that he did regenerate that time the Daleks "killed" him and just regenerated into his own self. Somehow. And he also infused his previously severed hand with enough energy to constitute a whole new, albeit one-hearted, Doctor. |

And as confusing as that was... Honestly, and it's just my own opinion here, but the show has gone down hill for awhile now. And it's really the writer's I blame. And yes, I don't like how "woke" it's all become. But that has nothing to do with the cast, just the story-lines. Like when #10 killed a bunch of baby spider-like creatures (Runaway Bride), but #13 complained when someone killed one giant spider, which was dying already. It's like the new writer's never saw the show before or something and just a summery. |

Anyone have news on why the BBC has decided to no longer produce animated versions of the lost Dr Who episodes ??? I know part of it has to do with a lack of funding from the USA. But there is supposedly another "official" reason. I don't know what that is. |

I don't think the BBC would do that. They should have learned from their previous mistake when they gave John Nathan Turner a lot of control over the show. It started slowly, with question marks on the lapel (4th Doctor), then came the celery (5th) and then followed with an ugly coat (6th) and really lame attempts at getting big-name stars (in the UK, at least, they were big-name) and really bad scripts which caused the show to come to a halt for awhile. And then came the 7th Doctor and the bad stories continued and the ratings never recovered. The 8th wasn't given a chance (though having read of the ideas that were going to be used by the Hollywood backers, I'm glad he didn't). Too much power corrupts too much. |
