I thought Johnny did a great job as a heel GM. I know lotsa people hated him but thats his job as a corporate stooge full of himself. Fans buy tickets to see this evil bumbling oaf get his ass kicked.
Same thing with Vicki. She is used to help get potentially good mid to main eventers over with the fans. She is supposed to be annoying (that excuse me catch phrase is great) and a weasal. It probably is time for Ziggler to go off on his own (if they would ever quit jobbing him). Swagger may be a talented wrestler but on the mic he is not so talented. He could use her skills some more I feel and maybe some other new talent after she is done with Ziggler and Swagger. |

Juan Cena
They can probably keep Johnny on screen, keep putting him in embarrassing situations. As long as he is not hogging the spotlight then I'm not bothered one way or the other. I think that would be awesome to have Cena in money in the bank, when you asked earlier about what Cena would do next, I was thinking money in the bank, it would be a change. There really is nobody else possible at the minute, unless they do Big Show again. No doubt they will pull some other rabbit out of the hat and 'surprise me'. As much as it would be cool to see Cena in a money in the bank match, he most likely wont be for the reason you mentioned. |

Thanks for the info on Eve Torres. I was curious why she was up Johnny Ace's ass one week and basically gone throughout the events leading up to his firing. I thought they were missing several opportunities to burn time between matches. Instead, we get replays upon replays. I'd much rather hit mute and check out Eve.
I thought the show overall wasn't too bad. I loved the Punk-Sheamus vs Bryan-Kane match. Several good spots from all involved. We got to see AJ without having to listen to her. Her part was short, sweet and got the point across without wasting a lot of time on it. The smile on Kane's face once he realized he had gotten played was great. It could be interpreted a couple different ways. 1) He just realized he got played and is smiling as he plots his revenge. 2) He's just happy to be getting attention from a crazy chick like her. Punk and Sheamus work great as a tag team. That GTS into a Brogue Kick was awesome and done perfectly by all three involved. I hate when Swagger does the shoulder into the corner post move. It always looks so obviously fake. He does it at least once a match as well. Time to add something new. Other than that, another interesting match. I was actually expecting Ziggler to go off on his own like they have been teasing. Missed opportunity? Swerve? Setting up a double cross? Mission accomplished, I'm curious. I liked the bedpan to the head segment. I miss Stone Cold. Paul Heyman...meh. I never liked him. Weasels annoy me. Of course, that's the point. Doesn't mean I like it. I could do without seeing him, Lesnar or HHH unless they're wrestling. Del Rio? I just can't find it in myself to care. I got tired of him months ago. He needs Rey Mysterio to come back IMHO. Cyndi Lauper and Wendi Richter? Again, I just don't care. I never could stand Lauper or her music. Richter was alright when she was hot-ish. Now? Nothing. Was it just me or did Roddy Piper sound like he was sloshed? He's hard to understand as it is. But, he really sounded drunk. Prime Time Players as the #1 contenders? Really? They're still sloppy as hell. They need a lot more work. The 3 on 1 match was only interesting because it was rats leaving a sinking ship. It was closure, nothing more, nothing less. I would have liked to have seen Teddy Long get more involved in some way.

Big Show has thrown his name in the hat for money in the bank . The special ladder will be coming out. Since he is in it , Cena should go in as well.

Other than being able to coin names such as "primetime players" and "millions and millions and billions and millions of dollars," and dancing like a bunch of baboons, they don't have much going for them. I think Titus is the worse of the two. I get a feeling that he will always stumble on a power move. His legs are wobbly, which totally contradicts his impressive physique. Darren Young is more solid and he can do a good double knee gutbuster. However, I don't think too highly of him as well. I'd rather have Hawkins and Reks in their position. More charismatic, more experience as a team so have better chemistry, and they can talk. Speaking of talking, Darren's, eh, don't know really, doesn't talk a lot. Titus though, I remember him more, for stumbling on the mic. I still remember vividly when Cole was on NXT commentary for a night and said after Titus' heel turning promo, "52 weeks and you still can't cut a promo." That is Cole's best line since he became a heel.

I don't think I would've really minded Laurenitis if he wasn't a focal point for so long.

I haven't seen much of Reks lately. I stopped following NXT after Season 2. I was also working Monday nights for much of last year so I missed a lot of Raw episodes. I remember he had the look, but wasn't impressed with him in the ring. I'd like to see more of him and see how much he has improved.

Raw became all Johnny, all the time. That's why I got tired of Vince McMahon. There was just too much of him. He dominated the show instead of adding to it once in awhile.
