I seriously don't get the whole thanking system going on around here. It serves no real purpose that I can tell. I suspect that for some, it creates a culture whereby one must be thanked by everyone else in the thread in order to feel valid and accepted, or liked, or whatever. And maybe it creates problems where none should exist. I dunno. I don't thank or not thank anyone for any particular reason really, mainly it's just a way to say, "Hey, I read that." Doesn't mean I approve of it. It might possibly just mean... THANKS, and nothing more. But usually, it's an irrelevant gesture intended to mean nothing at all. So if I do it or DON'T do it for anyone in particular, please don't read anything into it.

Speaking of thanks...

I think Thanksgiving comes before Christmas on purpose. It's to remind people to say "thank you", if only once a year, and to not to be such entitled spoiled little shits when someone gives them everything they want for Christmas in another 30-ish days.

The pics and vids we all share and enjoy here at PS just don't pop-up out of nowhere. We don't just go to a page and pick them out like bottles of pop. They must be acquired somehow, sometimes even paid for. Work must be done to make them presentable for other viewers. THAT TAKES TIME AND EFFORT.

I don't know WTF your story is ... and I really don't care. I'm explaining this because I'm a VIP and it's important to me to keep consideration perfectly clear. I other posters because they have given me something I ENJOY. They found it before I did and they went through the TIME AND EFFORT to give it to me. I expect the same in return. I like getting because it lets ME know that some other member liked what I posted. I want to know that I am contributing content that others like. All-in-all all things being said and done ... it makes PS the #-fucking-1 forum in the internet world.

You can of course disagree with me. I understand that. You can also however ... buzz the fuck off ... and go somewhere else.
