If you ever have nasal congestion, as in swollen nasal passages, NEVER use any phenylephrine (fast acting formula) or oxymetazoline (12hr formula) nasal spray to relieve the symptoms. (sold OTC under the names NeoSynephrine, 4-Way, etc) The FDA should ban this shit. I'M NOT KIDDING. DON'T TOUCH IT. I've been physically dependent on this shit for the last 10 years or so. I'm one of the millions of Americans who have gotten stuck using it permanently. The companies that make it know that 95% of their sales go to physically dependent long term users like me. And they don't care.
Consider it heroin. Don't touch it. |

@Uranium236 - Thank you for that! When I went in for my physical I told my physician how I'll occasionally have wind tunnel hearing which is very annoying and he recommended I get those nasal sprays which I didn't and now I won't.
