I know they were both pretty young when they started in porn but their heyday is now far enough in the past that it sort of feels like they should be older than that, at least pushing thirty.

Seems right to me.

They come in at 18/19 and go through the gauntlet within just a few years: start off with a standard/tame B/G scene with one of the mainstream studios but then it seems in a short period of time they've done an IRDP and Woodman scene.

They can have quite the portfolio by the age of 21 or 22 and then be retied for 5 years and still be pretty young, like the girls you mentioned.

Feels like to me, 10-15 years ago it took a lot longer for girls to "progress" through their porn careers. Many would go several years without doing an anal or IR scene, and some would even have long successful careers without doing any of it. Look at girls like Alexis Texas and Rachel Starr - both were mega stars yet only did a few anal scenes each and most were later in their careers (and never went farther than that).

But now a girl can make bank off her own "brand" away from mainstream porn, so she doesn't need to stretch it out (no pun intended). Just make a name for yourself and then live off the simps that will happily throw their paycheck at you. And if you ever need a large amount of cash in a short period of time, just go on an escort tour for few weeks charging $3,000 USD per night for sex that is likely much tamer than what you'd have to do for a porno scene.

Not sure if I even would want Lana to come back now.
Not too keen about her look in recent pictures. And by the time she stopped it was clear she wasn't much enthused any more by porn. I'm pretty sure if she was made to return, it would be much of the same. I am quite happy rewatching her 2016 scenes.
