u mean a short sex scene in regular, non-sex, films?

the voices need to match! if u have the voices dubbed for the rest of the film, then suddenly go with the orig audio during the sex scene, it's not gonna sound right. depending on the visuals, viewers might even think "wait, WHO is this he's in bed with now?"

basically, it's all or nothing once u start dubbing.

So there’s a scene where the step mom has sex with her step son, then the step sister arrives, has sex with her step brother, then step sis has sex with the step mom.

Unless that scene had a convoluted backstory involving a throuple or a dead parent, that scene is portraying actual incest in one of those pairings, not step incest.

doesn't matter. in the US *step* incest is considered incest in many states, so even the original premise is on shaky grounds.

i've asked before about how these can be legal. it matters not whether no real incest/pedophilia/bestiality is involved during filming; supreme court has ruled that even simulated versions are illegal. so how does "i banged my stepmom" even pass muster?

Go reread Ashcroft v. Free Speech Coalition and Ashcroft v. ACLU. The Supreme Court said that Child Pornography Prevention Act of 1996's prohibition of simulated pornography and art featuring alleged minors was unconstitutional. So while actual child porn is not protected, art involving 700-year old vampires who look like they're 12 is ok.

Porn studios using stepcest rather than full on incest is a stylistic choice rather than a legal one. In a decade or two, I expect they'll go full on fake incest because they've been pushing further and further into extremes and that's obviously the next step.
