I like the option of being scooped about 4 months ago , but hold off the suspension until there is nothing for him to do. Evan Bourne is the George Jung of the WWE locker room. He got Orton hooked.
That is why I was so surprised. It's usually those names mentioned above that get suspended. I thought Orton's wild days were behind him. I'm sure Dolph and Jack are getting excited about getting a chance for 2 months before taking an RKO each on Orton's first night back |

Time for Santino to bring his A game
It will be interesting to see how well Smackdown plays out without Orton. I'm thinking, they'll bring in CM Punk every Smackdown, which is fine by me.

Right before Randall officially got suspended, there was SD shows advertising Cena to appear. Not sure if he will actually appear on camera at that point, but with Randall suspended, it wouldn't be surprising if him and Punk would get on there more. The reason for Cena to even get advertised in the first place is to increase ticket sales. Even with Randall and Sheamus on top, they felt they needed to give Cena more bookings there.

I don't think they've been sitting on the Orton suspension - because of the timing, he's going to just-miss the 1000th episode of Raw, which is from STL. Why would they wait to suspend a guy that'd likely get a huge home-town pop? It's funny, if they'd only said he'd been suspended "as of the May 22", he'd have been back for the big show. Instead, he's going to miss it by less than a week.

And, Albert Wesker, per your list of favorites: You're going to have to explain how Drew McIntyre & Heath Slater made it on your list. The others are pretty self-explanatory, but both of those guys are kinda random. Why them? (I'll totally admit to being a fan of McIntyre's, who is one of the most misused guys on the roster ... but Slater?!?) |

Thoughts on SD.
1.) Sheamus started the show, explaining his actions last week after Del Rio won the 3 way match. Sheamus talked about Del Rio being a rich, demeaning person, and that his money can't buy the world title. Ok, but then Otunga came out. The guy just wants to be owned by big faces. Otunga reminds Sheamus about him bumping into Johnny Ace 2 weeks ago. Whoa now, Sheamus not wanting to apologize? What a heel! Del Rio interrupted and called Sheamus a hooligan. Heh, his outfit looked really cool. Del Rio got to pick Sheamus' opponent for the show, and Sheamus reacted with a Brogue Kick to Otunga. How unsurprising. He got some new catchphrase, right? Never trust a hooligan? 2.) I totally forgot about Sin Cara's return, they didn't advertise it on RAW. No trampoline entrance. Probably a good idea since he has botched it before. Sin Cara looked nice, not really botch filled. He just came back from a serious knee injury, so he was a bit slow on his return. Good proof is in his finisher, La Mistica. That move would come so damn quickly, but it was done slower, and originally, it's an armbar submission, but he didn't do the armbar part. So he's a bit rusty. Though according to Cole, seconds into the damn match, he said Cara looks better than ever. Ohhhhhhh, please. Good return. 3.) Sandow got the mic and wanted to bail. It made me laugh. What's also funny was Booker saying Ezekiel Jackson being in a major slump. Sandow dominated, and squashed. Sandow's pinning combination was interesting. Hand under the chin, just chilling. Since he's doing a cartwheel, that means Daniel Bryan won't do a "YES!" cartwheel. Damn. 4.) Ricardo was talking in Spanish to Del Rio, until Ziggler came in and wanted to wrestle Sheamus. HMM! How he wanted the challenge, he has a drive to steal the show. That's what he does best. He said so himself. 5.) I like commentary just laughing at the scripted bad promo by the two jobbers, and joking. They make Ryback's squashes more entertaining, no offense. Booker said he saw the jobbers as big stars in the independent circuit. Is that a knock at the indies? I didn't hear "Goldberg" chants. Either it's editing, or fans embracing Ryback. 6.) Time to stop and dive into something different. WWE seems to be doing a lot of recapping of events from RAW and their PPVs, on RAW for one, but also on SD. These recaps are practically as long as an actual segment, 5 minutes or so. That time could be spent on something else, like a match for Antonio Cesaro! I'm noticing this stab of time more and more, and I'm getting pretty bothered by it. This recap of Show's domination, will just get shown AGAIN on RAW. Hell, if anyone watched NXT and Superstars, same damn video. Oh man. 7.) Wow! Vickie got the mic to do her thing, but Ziggler walked down the ramp, taking the mic from Vickie and did the talking himself. He's focused alright. There was a sign that said "Push Ziggler." How fitting. Something I noticed was how Sheamus tried his Irish Curse Backbreaker, and how the execution was not set to go well. Seemed improvised, as Sheamus turned it into a regular backbreaker. It was actually really good improv. Or Ziggler deliberately made it hard for Sheamus. Another good move to note was Ziggler catching Sheamus on the top turnbuckle and did an X-factor from there. Another one was Sheamus' Brogue Kick finish coming off pretty suddenly with slickness. Commenting on all that, looking at Sheamus' hair, as it was especially greasy, this match had some great time added. It was damn good! Ziggler got a little chant, commentary touted Ziggler's skills. Ziggler lost uncleanly, as Swagger's interference didn't bode well for him. So Ziggler's angle is progressing. He's going to go solo. 8.) Oh CM Punk said him being the best in the world is a fact. Keep thinking that buddy. Nice little interview though. 9.) Primetime Players? Yeah man! I like that name. I'm actually agreeing with Booker T in his reaction: what the hell just happened? The match was so short and Santino got a rollup on Darren Young. To think, Big Show actually saved the segment. He threw Santino to the big WWE logo, and he got to destroying Ryder. Big Show put the base of the steel steps on the ramp, slammed Ryder on those steps, then turned the damn steps over with Ryder on it. Then he stopped a crawling Santino, put him in a camel clutch while on the steps, then a KO punch. This was a hell of a lot better than the closing segment to RAW. I don't know why. Slow pace like RAW, but I think it was shorter, so there was no feeling of dragging. I liked it. 10.) AJ and D-Bryan in a backstage segment! Bryan said Punk was using her, AJ saying he's jealous. Interesting line, as he said he did care for AJ once, unlike Punk. Great little segment. 11.) Christian on commentary? Sweet! Christian made an interesting comment on how some IC champions such as Bret Hart, Shawn Michaels, Booker, and even Christian, went on to be world champions. Cody, nope. That comment put the title over as second place to a world championship, which is what the title was practically built on. So it seems Christian's place as Intercontinental Champion is to strengthen the whole midcard and with a real feud with Rhodes, both men are set to do that. Both, since Rhodes sells a hunger for the title. Oh, Rhodes beat Tyson Kidd. 12.) Booker said Punk is just business with the women. HAH! Biggest player in WWE history since Batista. CM Pimp, or CM Player . OH MAN! I loved Daniel Bryan's dropkick to Punk and Kane to ruin the match. It made me laugh. Kane though would end up double chokeslamming Punk and Bryan! Things really shaped up in the main event. First of all, the match was really good. Punk and Kane worked about a month ago or so, in a great match. Didn't disappoint here. Something very interesting was how Punk's elbow drop actually felt like a finisher. When Kane kicked out, fans were surprised, it seemed well timed to be that. It was very nice. AJ's distraction came when she sinaled to Punk that Bryan was coming to the ring. I guess they are spinning it as if AJ caused the triple threat match at NWO to be announced: Bryan vs. Punk vs. Kane. What an exciting close. Randall had a segment on SD? Whatever it was, it was cut out. No Randall at all in this show. |

I'm getting tired of him saying that he's the best in the world, really annoying now. But I do like him in ring, and his entrance music. He mentions he is straight edge, but he fails to mention that he's better than everyone else. lol. That would make him a heel I guess
