IMO the moderation here is pretty decent, not too harsh given that the rules are pretty clearly stated, but wiling to boot out people who don't believe in any rules. And that's more or less what I look for on any forum I'm on. I had enough nastiness in a dozen years on the iMDb forums myself.

You are preaching to the choir hun I know all too well about being trolled on full contact sites away from here but you either develop a thick skin or get eaten alive. I sometimes forget I am on PS when my lips start flapping with less than complimentary retorts to the odd person here that takes exception to my posts for whatever reason but you learn restraint here and learn to post around people on all sites where they crave confrontation. The internet has become an us against them social experiment that is failing miserably.

You are correct that the staff here are decent/fair for the most part and some are true gems.

That is sad that you have bad luck on IMDb, I think I have been attacked maybe once or twice in my years posting there but choice of wording goes a long way in neutralizing trolls ... the whole honey vs vinegar thing.

Anyway, moving on, I don't care what others think in me saying I think a little cankledge is super sexy.

Welcome to the world of PC hun and you got caught in the web of troll catchers as twofacedbook goes from one extreme to the other. Had they keep a rein on things in the beginning instead of allowing it to be the wild wild west (not to be confused with our own wildwest here who is a wonderful staff member) they wouldn't have to go through such an extreme clampdown now with parameters that are far too reaching even if it does sanction trolls.

I deactivated my FB years ago and refuse to have anything to do with that sewer. They need to be broken up into more controllable divisions but that opens the regulation can of worms. Moderator overreach is a problem on the internet as well as unqualified people are charged with great power and little regard for debating the two sides of a decision more times than not and I for one will help change that.
