I'd toss the backup QB to the wolves if I were Andy.

Seriously, I (and a lot of others) never thought Vick was all that good to begin with,
and maybe it is time for Andy to take a break for awhile.
He can pull a Cowher and be a broadcaster for a few years.

I was thinking Cowher as well i mean he understand's the passion it will bring being he was the main man @ the Steelers.

More otherworldly quarterback numbers again this week. Man, do I miss defense and a solid running game (and scrambling QB's don't count as a running game...). I can't remember the last time a running back carried 30 or more times. Four of the top 5 rushing leaders had less than 25, and two had just 15. My Seahawks back, Marshawn Lynch, rushed for over a 100 but had just 12 carries in a close game...I mean, don't you pound the ball in close games? Or is it smarter now to go three and outs with passes and taking 46 seconds off the clock?

At let's see, Eli was receiving the MVP chants after the first three weeks, now Peyton is the choice. Don't we have half a season yet? The Saints couldn't stop a dead horse and where the hell did the Falcons comes from? I swear I've barely heard a word about their undefeated season so far, but lord knows I've heard all I can about Tebow, Rex, Romo, Jerry and Newton.

At least a good Monday night game today. To see Gore and Fitzgerald showcasing their talents should be a feast for those who love natural NFL talent.

Hell of a game from the Niners. Just like their stretch a few weeks ago where they just manhandle and dismantle teams.

Alex Smith played well; kinda reminded me of how he looked at Utah. I was most impressed that an NFL team actually ran the ball more (29 times) than they passed (only 19).

Of course, Arizona did the complete opposite and epitomizes what is so popular now : 52 passes and just 9 rushes...and it netted them a loss.

As for reports he had lost his confidence,
Smith said, "It was in my closet. I found it."

Also a lot of commentators seems to be getting on Goldson for celebrating after the hit.
(Seems there is no place for that behavior in "today's" NFL. )

Seems it goes back to last year's game where Early took a swing at him which the refs didn't notice,
Goldson took a swing back at him, which the refs did notice and ejected him for it.
So it was a lil' bit of payback.

I don't mind Smith atleast he isn't the reason why the 49ers go down most weeks he does his job.

Watching ESPN @ moment & it seems Vick will be the QB for another week.
Guess the Eagles don't care anymore.
