Working my way through the first season of Killjoys (out on DVD/Blu-ray), and thoroughly enjoying it. A second season has been announced, I hope it happens.

For those of you that liked The Girlfriend Experience, it has been renewed by Starz for a second season featuring new characters and storylines.

What TV Shows Are You Currently Following?
The shows I'm following that I'm up to date with are:
Power Black Sails UnREAL Good Witch The Last Ship Tyrant Scream I'm close to giving up on The Last Ship and Tyrant. They've both gone down hill since their first season; especially Tyrant. The idiot producers made the mistake of allowing real life events to influence the storyline on the show; it's gotten ridiculous. The shows I'm following that I've fallen behind on are: Orphan Black Jessica Jones Daredevil Sense8 Penny Dreadful Hemlock Grove Salem |

Been having mixed luck with the television shows I've watched recently.

Persisted through 10 episodes of Crazy Ex Girlfriend due to the captivating Rachel Bloom, however, the show is dire and I couldn't subject myself to more moments where I cringe so much that my eyes almost pop out. Another show that I recently forced myself to sit through cause of some more than favourable critical reviews was the first season of iZombie. Not my bag, I'm afraid. Thankfully, I'm also watching BoJack Horseman which is absolutely fabulous and more than helps trot away from all the pedestrian wares on display elsewhere. Sheer quality. |

In the last month or so "Archer" was said to be a show I couldn't miss. Absolutely fantastic and hilarious, and the animators sure as hell know how to draw the female form.

Television has been hugely disappointing for me lately. I can't find anything really that captures my interest or imagination. They all just seem like filler for commercials.
Thankfully I tripped over a real little gem the other day called Stranger Things on the Flix that you use the Net to access. I'm only two episodes in but I am loving it. Not at all the same genre but would compare it to True Detectives in quality. Real throwback to the 80's and has a whole Twilight Zone, E.T., Goonies, Stand By Me kind of a vibe to it. They nailed the casting, and I feel like a kid again sitting on the couch getting lost in the story! Another which I really like that is into season six now is Suits. Getting a bit long in the tooth, but it's still one I look forward to. Really anxious to see the new Lethal Weapon TV series starting this fall. Looks like it might be a winner, and if my affinity for the 80's in my above comments are any indication I can't wait to see what the MacGyver remake this fall is gonna be like. I had started watching Narcos but got away from it. Wasn't bad, just wasn't stellar. I will probably get back to it at some point. I had also started watching Aquarius with David Duchovny. Same deal. Wasn't bad, wasn't stellar and drifted away from it. Will probably get back to it at some point also. Love Duchovny. Star of one of my all time favorite shows, Californication. |

I posted before about watching Limitless but after about 7 or 8 shows, I could no longer get motivated to watch it. It seemed very boring and predictable. I wish they would have let me write/direct. That could have been a good show.
