Thank you for sharing that with us, mmarcuswarren. Most people some times don´t think how unique and amazing a voice actor´s job can be, or their important contributions to the film industry, until they are no longer with us. They can be a big part of our lives, and lasting childhood memories, even if we have never seen their real faces. I still remember a couple of years ago the passing away of the great voice-actor Mel Blanc. Who was Mel ? He was the voice of Bugs Bunny. The voice of Daffy Duck... Porky Pig...and numerous other fun characters from the Looney Tunes and Merrie Melodies cartoons. Later, he would also give the voices to many other cartoons from Hanna-Barbera company. Memorable characters as The Flinstones, the Jetsons, Captain caveman... The list is long. Such great memories we will always cherish from our childhood days, until we are no longer here.

i would say that BILLY WEST is the modern day mel blanc. including, at times, DOING mel blanc's voice in some cartoon remakes.

Kymberly Herrin, the former Playboy Playmate who appeared in an infamous sex scene in the classic movie Ghostbusters, has died at the age of 65, according to the Santa Barbara News-Press. The outlet reported on Tuesday that Herrin passed away peacefully on October 28 in Santa Barbara, California. A cause of death has not been publicly revealed. California native Herrin, who resided in Santa Barbara up until her death, according to the paper's obituary, graced the covers of several magazines, and also made appearances in such enduring classic 1980s movies as Romancing the Stone and the original Ghostbusters. In Ghostbusters, which was released in 1984, Herrin appeared as a ghost who had a suggested tryst with Dan Aykroyd's character Ray Stantz. While Stanz dreamed, the alluring apparition was seen hovering above his bed before undoing his belt buckle. The scene suggested that the ghost had performed a sex act on Stantz. During an interview with Polygon in 2021, Aykroyd recounted the sequence as he remembered working with Herrin. "Yes, I remember the woman who played that. Her name was Kym Herrin, and she was a Playboy Playmate. She played the ghost. Like, I wish they'd let that scene go a little longer," he said. Aykroyd went on to state that such a scenario is not particularly far-fetched. "Sexual encounters with spirits are very, very common," he added. "And there are some people that I know that have a house that have a presence and they don't try to purge it. They say, You know what, I'm going to stay with it and I'll live with it."

Actor Robert Clary, who made audiences smile as Corporal Louis LeBeau on the legendary sitcom "Hogan's Heroes," died at the age of 96 on November 15. Per a statement released by his granddaughter, Kim Wright, to The Hollywood Reporter, no cause of death was given. At the time of his passing the actor was the final surviving member of the long-lived sitcom's principal cast; Kenneth Washington, who joined the series during its sixth season as Sgt. Richard Baker, is the last surviving member of the extended cast. LeBeau was the unit's passionate gourmand and wasn't above using his skills in the kitchen to win favors for his imprisoned unit and to score points with Sergeant Hans Schultz (John Banner) and Colonel Wilhelm Klink (Werner Klemperer). LeBeau was a flirtatious character, and he often engaged in flights of fancy when it came to women. He was also a master of shoving himself into tight crawlspaces, even though he was claustrophobic. LeBeau was extremely proud of his French heritage and spoke with a thick accent, which was an exaggerated version of Clary's own inflection. The actor who portrayed him had a robust career both before and after the sitcom aired its final episode in 1971, and he survived an astronomical amount of personal tragedy to claim a spot in Hollywood's hierarchy including having survived two Concentration Camps.

Gallagher, a comedian known for his observational and prop comedy, which included smashing watermelons on stage, died November 11, 2002 at 76, his longtime manager confirmed. The comedian died surrounded by his family in Palm Springs, California, after a "short health battle," former manager Craig Marquardo said in a statement to USA TODAY. Gallagher has previously suffered several heart attacks, Marquardo added.
"While he had his detractors, he was an undeniable talent and an American success story," Marquardo said. The comedian was born Leo Gallagher in Fort Bragg, North Carolina, on July 24, 1946. He rose to stardom in the 1980s with his comedy special "An Uncensored Evening." He went on to do more than a dozen Showtime specials over the next three decades.

I'm definitely very sorry to hear about Aaron Carter's death.
Even though I never liked any of his songs or that of his brother (BSB), I watched a few clips with him being interviewed by SteveO, and thought he was a good guy, just being estranged by both his parents as well his brother (can definitely relate to that, as I was, too, estranged by my relatives for no real valid reason). It's kinda pathetic to see, now, that his brother "remembers" him by launching a fund for mental health awareness, when he could've just look after his brother, if he knew that he had depression/substance abuse problems going on Shame on Nick Carter, and fuck the BSB! R.I.P. Aaron! Hope you finally found peace of mind, now!
