I'm just happy because it seems like WWE know what they have now when it comes to his talent. Sure he might not beat Punk, but getting thrown into another title match so quickly says a lot.

That quote from Charlie Haas from a page or two back made me laugh, one part in particular:

One of the 4 teams that he mentioned as being so great was exactly that, a team that was thrown together (New Age Outlaws) because they didn't have anything else to do. Oh, and he himself is in a tag team that was put together out of convenience than anything else. He didn't start teaming with Shelton Benjamin until Russ Haas died; if Russ lived, most likely TWGTT never gets formed.

I agree with him, that it'd be smart (and easy) to recreate a tag division ... I just think he's dead-wrong if he thinks that throwing a tag team together at random is a new phenomenon.

And IRT John Morrison: I'm pretty sure that he's been taking acting/vocal classes since being released, so it's good to see him seem less wooden ... really, all that was holding him back from (at worst) an upper-mid-card run was his inability to talk. Oh, and Melina. She held him back more than anything, IMHO.

What about Beer Money? At first I didn't think those two would gel at all, especially with contrasting characters and ring styles. Also, both men were primarily tag team wrestlers: Storm with America's Most Wanted and Roode with Eric Young. Just because they teamed with others guys, doesn't mean they'd make a good team together. Well, they sure disproved that.

I think Miz and Morrison was a thrown together team, and they turned out to be a very entertaining one. The only tie those two had were being on (separate seasons) of Tough Enough. Jericho and Big Show did pretty well.

He's in ROH, one team that seemed to be only connected with gimmicks that like partying and women, was the All Night Express: Rhett Titus and Kenny King. They seemed thrown together and they turned out pretty well (a tag team match they had with Benjamin and Haas from Glory By Honor X for proof).

I guess that is why I prefer adults to look after themselves, instead of another wrestler/manager like Melina. I thought she was more concerned with herself as a "wrestler to be" than concerned for MNM. I thought Mercury was the better talent of the team.
Oh and, Haas and Benjamin were only put together because they were the only 2 guys that beat Lesnar in College, or so I thought.
I think it would be great to see a Cana vs Lesnar rematch, but what will happen to Lesnar? I thought he lost a job, but I keep reading that he will face HHH at the next PPV. Did he become a "loose cannon" just to be off TV? Will he only wrestle in PPV events?

I'd be surprised if he wrestled on TV. John Laurinaitis will find a way to rope him back into TV, which might mean he interferes in the Laurinaitis and Cena match at OTL, when Tensai and Sakamoto don't finish the job.

About Mercury, he was great, but he had drug addiction problems. He went sober for a bit, but once he broke his face in that ladder match, he got addicted again. In fact, in ROH, his problems were brought up, and he found salvation by joining Age of the Fall. In WWE, same thing, joined CM Punk's straight edge society. Last I read, he's a trainer in FCW.

Yes, he became a loose cannon to be written off TV. I think he will be ppv only.

Got a bad feeling that Triple H will beat him as well. That makes all the sense in the world doesn't it ? nah didn't think so. Cena winning made perfect sense, he is the franchise player, Triple H is an authority figure.

Rock over Cena makes no sense at all from a long term plan for the sport, yet they did it anyways. So the guy that had 1 match in 7 years beat the guy that wrestles every day and then he disappeared again until next year when he makes another run to win the belt 1 more time.

If they are willing to do that then for sure HHH over Lesnar might well be a reality.

Folks are saying that the WWE web site recently added a section for Sting. No one is sure what that means....

Also Matt Morgan's contract is up soon in TNA and he has said he might be heading back to the WWE so we will see. He could be saying that to get an edge on contract negotiations with TNA and its also possible it could be true.
