I do, as long as she's dead on screen.

As of today (October 2024) most of my all-time favorite "musicians" (composers, artists, performers) are dead. Some dies of natural causes, others studio accidents (falling off a 5 foot cliff...). I still enjoy their music and continue to wonder what they'd be churning out if they lived longer. In the case of one said artist, his widow continues to sift through old never-released studio recordings and releases post-humous stuff for the fans. That artist basically always worked on something but would quickly leave stuff unfinished to move on to the next project, leaving a vast vault of unreleased stuff. But that is besides the point. I too feel that if you feel it is creepy to wank one off to a dead porn performer, then that is you choice, and nothing wrong with that. But at the same time, if we count the male performers who have also passed away and appeared in "countless" (well 100s) of scenes, then a lot of stuff would be off the proverbial table. Take Jon Dough for example. He shot so much stuff for other folks and later for his own company that if we were to "delete" his material, well... I mean I myself found that I still enjoy the August Ames, Shyla Stylez (earlier work) and Savannah (early 90s) stuff to this day I do not let the tragedy of what their demons had in store for them ruin the "in the now" experience. I guess I am just wired differently than others. Also of note is that I have known many people in my personal life who have passed away, and while I always find it painful not to have them around to let them know how much they are(were) appreciated on a daily basis, I do let the fact influence why and how I remember them. Because I am sure they really would appreciate me remembering them on a daily basis as opposed to the alternative. BUT to each their own, of course. |
