Use Google, specifying the phrase, and the site (http://veterperementour.ru).

Some countries (eg: The UK) have blocked Google from returning any results from the Planet.

If you live in one of these territories, use a proxy server when performing your search.

If I remember correctly, there was a time here, long ago, when three-letter words could be searched, but there were server issues with it, so the minimum length for searches is now four letters. I could be wrong, but I do seem to remember an issue with searches...

I would suggest getting creative with your searches, as an alternative. For example, I wanted to see if there was an established thread for musician Sun Ra. Obviously, the name is not long enough to search in the typical fashion, so I picked out some of his more well-known albums, an used those titles to search. (He does not have a dedicated thread)

Not sure if using a search term in quotes works here, like it does in Google...

What he said. Limits on word length were increased because of the load this version of vBulletin puts on the servers when you have a large amount of members all searching at once.

By the way, contrary to what some may think, this forum runs on multiple high capacity servers that have to be load balanced to try to keep the forum running as it is. Load balancing can be tricky in any situation so there will occasionally be issues. Adding to that load is the inefficiency of the search function in this version of vBulletin so there has to be a tradeoff when allowing the minimum character length for words searched.

You can try other search engines as well if you live in the UK to do a search and see if it's blocked. DuckDuckGo does not check and save your IP nor does it issue a referral to any site that you visit from the search engine. Because of this they have no information to even supply to law enforcement if they come calling.

Some good answers here that may be helpful.

Here is a suggestion, FIX the "gosh darn" search function feature!!! Having to use Google to search your own website shouldn't even register in anyone's mind. Not to mention the search function doesn't even work for mobile users nor does the comment feature in the user CP.

Sorry, what was I thinking, that would require PS to come into the 21st century!!! It's much easier to hand out infractions for inadvertently making a duplicate thread...
