Cody Rhodes beating Big Show is a lot more believable than a 500k fine for Sheamus.
if you're good enough, you can find a way. Thing is, Cody is not good enough, so Big Show will probably win again. Yay. |

If Show and Khali became a regular tag team, bring on the Kings of Wrestling! Now that Kassius Ohno and Antonio Cesaro are in FCW, they can be called up and pose a believable threat. Both men are in the 6'5" region, so compared to the Colons, they are big men. Great way to debut them, but it won't happen. Khali might just get lumped with more tag team matches, as it's the 2nd straight time he's in one on TV.
Rhodes going over Show? Well, Rhodes soundly defeated Great Khali. He's not on Show's skill level, but it was pretty convincing. Chop the big man down to size, brains over brawn. I'll keep saying it again, it's 2012, not 1985. Chopping giants to size can be feasible today, there are generally smarter wrestlers anyways. Plus, Show sells better than Khali, so the punishment would be more viable. Also, why not a repeat assault to the head? Rhodes' Beautiful Disaster can be done repetitively, and Show will just go down like a log. I'm not sure though if Rhodes will regain the IC title. I don't know what he'll do. It feels like he has to wait longer until he's shot up to the main event, and Wade Barrett returning will make him a bigger priority than Cody. Maybe Rhodes will feud with a debuting Seth Rollins? They worked a house show not long ago, both are of similar size, I'm sure sparks would fly. |

Day 22 - Holy Shit Holy Shit

This has already been picked as burtog's top mark out moment. I have to use it again. Getting thrown off the Cell was amazing. The second bump through the cell was nasty too. Quote:

You know, back in 2007, I still thought wrestling was real to an extent. So watching Vince McMahon's limo exploded with him in it, would qualify. However, watching it again, it's just funny. So, I will use something else...
Ow my aching head! That's nasty. Jimmy Snuka's son was the cameraman and he failed to catch Undertaker. As a result, he was fired shortly thereafter. It did add to the match, as it made a countout finish more believable. It took me a couple more viewings to notice that Undertaker's head actually made an indentation on the floor mat. Those mats have no give at all, and cover concrete floor. The ring is some sheet covering wood. The difference is apparent. Also, he's 44 at this point, 300 pounds. He's done it since 1997 (I think his first one was in the first ever 1 on 1 match with Shawn Michaels at Ground Zero, 1 month before the first Hell in a Cell), but it's always a huge risk. I can't believe this wasn't on WWE's "OMG" DVD. If anyone watched it, number 1 was Foley falling off the Cell into the announce table. Unforgettable, but I didn't watch it live. I watched that dive from 'Taker, live. Besides, Foley always said the 2nd fall was worse, chair lodged his tooth up his nose, and his smile was actually him showing that his tongue could go through a small hole under his lip. That's gross. Interesting fact: Undertaker wrestled that match with a broken foot (Foley's first book for reference). This is a real good second. |

I'd love it if he came over now, but I have to admit: at this point, I prefer him in comedy matches (like his DDT match with Dino) than as an actual ass-kicker. My holy-shit moment would have been the Foley bump, but since I used that for my mark-out moment (and Alan Kellerman chose it already) I'll go with something else. I'll provide the caveat that it's kind of gross but it's a bump from a Big Japan match in which Jun Kasai takes a powerbomb onto a razorblade board and you can immediately see how badly it cuts his back. For real: this is kind of gross. Watch at your own risk. Oh, and that's an ugly bump that Low Ki & Homicide forced on that guy. He seemed Ok when he was being held in the Cop Killa but the way 'Cide dropped him left him unable to protect himself. Ugh. |

The single greatest bump from a mainstream WWE/WCW/ECW/AWF/NWA wrestler (not no name indy fed) was UT tossing Mankind off the top of the cell. Bar none it is the single most amazing bump anyone had ever done.

I'm gonna go with Shane Mcmahon vs Kurt Angle at that King of the ring match. It was obvious Shane was supposed to go through the glass on the first belly-to-belly but it was a botch so they kept going til he went through the first and then the second. this link is long, like 33 minutes, and the spot I am talking about is around the 22 minute mark but the match is still one of my favorites, even though i feel bad for how effed up Shane gets from the glass.
