Didn't the WWE do this with Show and Kane, UT and Kane, and a few other big-men teams? If they make this a team, then I hope this team will not fight each other.

Day 21 - Your favorite promo?
Last edited by Alan Kellerman; 18th April 2012 at 20:30.
16 years later and it is still the best. I think it is safe to say that this will never be beat. The only downside is that he was still rockin that crappy Ringmaster music. |

The first promo that got me into promos. Jeff Hardy had just won the WWE Championship in a triple threat match with HHH and Edge. After Jeff was celebrating, Edge interrupted, all pissed and upset. The words he spoke, how he spoke them, was very gripping. One thing I always liked hearing was "One good day out of 365, does not make a champion. It takes a LIFETIME of dedication." Just how he said it made me think his frustrations were so real. The power he delivered on the mic would ultimately make me change my whole tune on Jeff Hardy. How hot Edge was, and how lackluster a reaction Jeff was, it became apparent that Edge was the Man.
To think that was it, Edge would then finish his feud with John Cena in the spring. It was probably the first time someone said they "hated" John Cena in a promo. That's a really good second, he was having the Cutting Edge, after losing the world title at Wrestlemania. So calm and very distraught, but then he laid down what sounded like truth, towards Cena. Cena at least had a great comeback, and it would lead to a classic Last Man Standing match at Backlash. Then I got to loving Chris Jericho's promos, and then CM Punk during his Straight Edge Messiah days. God, I miss that CM Punk, even though the current one is doing fine. |

Edge > Jeff Hardy in every way you can imagine. I miss that CM Punk as well, once you become a babyface you lose part of what made you so good. Ask Randy Orton. I'm not saying Punk is bad, I like him, I just liked him better when he was owning Jeff Hardy. Serena was a bonus too. Quote:
They just do it at random times. Put the two big men together. I'm more scared of Cody losing to Big Show again at Extreme Rules. please prove me wrong WWE. |

Serena is the first lady that went bald and still looked hot. It just showed how dedicated she was. Apparently, they were looking for a woman in FCW that was willing to shave their head. Serena was the only one willing to do that. She didn't wrestle much, which was a shame, because she's actually a great wrestler. I think she got fired for her alcoholic behavior, maybe breaking kayfabe, but her alcoholicism was pretty bad. She admit so herself, and she's been sober for over a year. I'm sure Punk was disappointed.
I agree about the heel to face transition. It just goes to show that smarter fans love heels more. Always cheering the bad guy. It's hard to be a face in WWE, especially today in the small box of PG. Heels are just more free. Everyone who's a bad guy now will say they prefer being a heel. Some guys are better as faces, like Sheamus, but how many of them? Not a lot. Austin's another guy better as a face. Orton's character doesn't bother me, because he's too good of a wrestler to think less of him. However, when he was a heel in 2009, dominating Cena, that was awesome. His promos there were with the same tone as now, but something about the content, was better. One promo, Orton said he was going to "bludgeon" John Cena. That didn't sound like PG. He turned face because he was cheered too much, Cena being the polarizing guy he is. CM Punk got the same treatment. Is there a worst promo question? Either way, this is pretty bad. |

in Japan they put Khali and Giant Silva as a Tag team. They were monsters with both being well over 7 feet and 3oo pounds. It would be cool for them to do this in the wwe by putting their 2 biggest guys as a Tag and just destroying everyone only later to tun on eachother.

As long as the WWE brings in competition to match.

It was ridiculous that Cody beat Show to begin with. I would hate like hell for him to beat Show and get back the belt.
Its just not a believable situation like Sheamus being fined $500k. Of course thats all a work and he never paid a penny. |
