Notice how Lesnar is the final image shown before Cena's, referring to the RAW intro video.
1.) Mark Henry got the jobber's entrance (already in the ring when shown on camera, so his entrance was off camera). 3 straight times they worked together, and it's apparent now: Punk and Mark Henry have chemistry. Since there was never a full feud of Bryan and Henry, there should be one on Punk and Henry feud. How about after Jericho. There was some "Yes" chants! Mark Henry showed off his strength, swinging Punk to the barricade. Henry also showed that he can sell for the smaller guys, and with a chair, made losing, realistic. Elbow drop action with the chair in hand onto Henry, and Punk won. Tremendous opener. 2.) Jericho's tron promo on RAW was just funny. He was talking to Punk like he's a dumb alcoholic, and had stalker footage of Punk going into a pub. In Punk's defense, he said he was getting some fish and chips with some beer drinker friends. Punk vs. Jericho face off at Extreme Rules in a Chicago Street Fight. Now stop, really? Every wrestling company does that for pop: "insert city hosting event" street fight. Chicago, Toronto, Philadelphia, New York. Any city. It's just a street fight. I hope Colt Cabana and Ace Steel are there, and Punk's whole family. 3.) Sherlock Truth? That was actually funny. Santino with a series of jerseys of football teams, but Lawler ruined it, saying each jersey he had on was wrong. I can guess fine with the crowd reaction, so Lawler should've shut his fat mouth. 4.) Santino won, though there was a false finish, as Marella had his foot on the rope, but he was pinned 1,2,3. Blah blah blah. 5.) Josh Matthews interviewed Lord Tensai. Speaking in Japanese, but translated a bit to basically say you should fear him. I had to pause when Michael Cole said Lesnar is the most outspoken superstar of all time. He's only saying that because Lesnar is back, so it's bullshit. Besides, CM Punk, Rowdy Roddy Piper, Stone Cold Steve Austin, there are others who are more outspoken than Lesnar. The interview was aired, and it was nice. It showed footage of his athletic career from high school to the UFC. They didn't mention the NFL, but come on man, football's fake. Censored "piss," "shit." That makes Lesnar the most outspoken guy? Yeah right, but it was nice stuff. One really good line was how he said if Lesnar didn't leave, Cena would be carrying his bags. 6.) Ryder was demolished, no bell rang. Kane then got the mic and talked about the family renunion last week. He said The Viper is easy, and "like father, like son." There was "What!" chants. 7.) Kofi talking to AJ and then comes D-Bryan! Bryan said AJ shouldn't date Kofi, shushed AJ, and then went on to rename the LaBell Lock as the "Yes" lock! Awesome. 8.) Cena got a live in ring promo, and he got more angry, which was great. He then revealed that he's afraid, but he will fight. He also claims Laurinaitis wants to end an era, the era of John Cena, and replace it with Lesnar. Next week's 3 hour RAW will have a contract signing between Lesnar and Cena. Those never go smoothly. Cena in an extreme rules match later. 9.) R-Truth walked through a bookcase like it was a door. Hehe, but Hornswoggle didn't make it better. 10.) Daniel Bryan got the biggest reaction of the show, and a great match to boot. Kofi Kingston did a great job, and Bryan goes without saying. Good back and forth, given some decent length, which is something Bryan isn't blessed with. Instead, 18 seconds. Give him time, he impresses even more. A smart little move he did was kick the ropes, hitting Kofi's head as it was hanging off the corner. Little thing like that is great. The Yes chants were so big, there were "Nos" when Kofi was getting an advantage. Then when Bryan got the Yes Lock, there was a massive pop. 11.) Sheamus came out to save Kofi from a 2nd Yes Lock, but Bryan narrowly escaped, thankfully. 12.) Brodus Clay and Ziggler had a short match that went to DQ interference by Swagger. Short in seconds! Dammit. Still though, what a reaction Brodus Clay, and even Ziggler, got. Vickie got more action, but it was fine. David Otunga got in his suit pretty quickly after wrestling. 13.) Chief Jay Strongbow tribute, very nice. Truth found a job for Teddy Long, as SD GM! Despite just losing that job. Heh. 14.) The tag champs faced Big Show and Great Khali. They tried to head for the hills, but Show stopped them and sent them to Khali. It ended with both men getting chokeslammed, one hand by Show, two hands by Khali. All while AW, Abraham Washington was watching. Where's Cody Rhodes. 15.) I thought it was going to be Miz, since he didn't appear on RAW at all. Lord Tensai, better choice. No offense to Miz, but Miz can't go with Cena in an extreme rules match. Being realistic. Ok, it was dirty, but Jaysus! 2 times in 3 weeks, Cena has jobbed! He lost to Rock, then he loses to Tensai. A Tensai who's been in WWE for 2 weeks! My God, are they transitioning away from Cena? It seems Laurinaitis' angle with Cena is centered on replacing John with Lesnar as the face of WWE. Not a big reaction for Tensai, but after that victory, more eyes should be on him. Interference by Sakamoto and Otunga, but it would've been worse if Tensai lost after interference failed. Cole called Cena's crossface the STF. No, it was a crossface, Cena didn't have the stepover toehold, just the facelock that became a crossface. Stupid. Tensai showed off his power and dominance, and Cena made his usual comebacks, though not with as much power as usually, thanks to the size of his opponent. Good close. Lesnar didn't appear in the arena, which isn't surprising. Cena could've easily said that Brock didn't want to travel to England, and then target Brock hating the traveling lifestyle. You know, get more realistic and personal, but ah well. Wrestlemania 23 was a great show. The two world title matches were classic, and the other matches were pretty nice in their own ways. One moment I liked especially. Then there's the Streaker. |

I heard OF Brock's self mention as he dominated MMA.
Alistair Overeem vs Brock Lesnar.
His matches were more like this one, where he was dominated. I never saw a complete match until this one was on my browser. I saw it in stages, the first 2 min, then the rest. Different topic: To what is Bryan cheering "yes, yes, yes?" He has no belt and no hot gf that put him over. If it was not for AJ's getting injured, his "caring" for her, I do not think he would have been recognized to hold the belt for that long. If the Rock had stayed with the WWE, he probably would have been champion again, again, agasin, and again.

He saw it and thought "Man, this is so annoying, I'm gonna use it!" The rest is history. Unlike Sanchez, Bryan's usage of it, is transcendental, as it's hitting the arenas at a rate that nobody booking an 18 second match would've guessed. |

In some rather shocking news, WWE Superstar John Cena went on a twitter rant earlier on today(April 16) that strung a lot of questions about tensions he may be having with higher ups and his current position in the WWE. One tweet in particular caught the attention of many fans albeit being deleted 20 minutes later. Gregory Helms, who is a former WWE superstar commented on the tweets on twitter saying "I don't know wtf is going but damn this is going to be good #Cenaismad". Here are the string of tweets from John Cena that left the twitterverse is awe: "Seems like the voices are being heard guys and the cena sucks chants have taken effect. They want to phase me out. #cantstopme" "I bussed my ass for this company and now you want to throw me out? hell, guess I'll make an iMPACT else where. #controversialtweet" #hustle #loyalty #respect you can't bring me down I'll do this else where if you need a new face for the business. don't miss me now" "I might not even stick around until WM29 and quite frankly I don't care. I'm going to do something that leaves everyone talking soon" "They use you and when you don't matter anymore you're dust to them. i should have known. but don't worry. #bombshellonitsway" "gotta start getting used to thursdays and I aint talking Jersey Shore #nevergiveup" The tweets were later deleted by John Cena and raises a lot of questions. Their have been no reports of any kind of tension between John Cena and the WWE but the tweets let out earlier today says other wise. More on this breaking story as we get it. ------------------------ Can it be??? remember when Cena told Vince he would leave and go somewhere else, "brother"? Too good to be true? xD

Its a $67m PPV gross. Based on that with the merchandising, dvd sales and all that, I'd expect Rock,Cena,HHH,Taker to all take a clear $1m each for a nights work, Punk, Jericho to clear $500k. |

You gotta remember anything any WWE star says at any time can ALWAYS be a work. Now that WWE has embraced twitter its only a matter of time before the WWE starts to use it to work angles.
Who knows maybe Cenas contract is up and he did it to give him some marketing leverage against him leaving for TNA? I have always liked Cena and will continue to like his work wherever he goes. |
