Actually, I read of real life heat between those two early in Cena's career. Cena was coming up in 2003 and feuded with Lesnar a bit. I read that Lesnar had some problem with Cena, likely something to do with him being on top and Cena coming to get his position? I don't know the details, it was 9 years ago, Lesnar seems to have matured, Cena is the face of the company. It would be interesting if they bring up the details on this, to add fuel and create a fire in this feud.

Speaking of Cena turning heel. I only thought of him turning heel on Rock, Ryder, and Punk. Those 3 are the biggest faces, and have majority love. However, given Cena's current place, I'd like it if they feud him with many superstars, some up and coming. Just so they look better by association. When it comes to Cena and the WWE title, it's not "if" he wins, it's "when." In 2012 though, I don't even know if he will win the title at all in 2012. At least much later in the year. 12 times the champion, if they don't want him to break Flair's 16 title record, expect Cena to have longer periods without the title.

John Cena Disrespected by WWE Again

When Brock Lesnar made his much-anticipated return to World Wrestling Entertainment on the April 2nd edition of Monday Night Raw, the fans in attendance showed their excitement to what they were watching. While many fans were hoping to see Lesnar return at WrestleMania 28, he made a major impact on Raw, hitting the F-5 on John Cena. His actions just added to the level of disrespect the promotion has shown Cena during the past couple of years.

Let me start by saying that I have never been a fan of Cena. Watching him get beaten down repeatedly is something I enjoy to see, but there has to be a point when it isn't fun anymore. In recent years, we have seen Cena put in impossible positions where he never comes out looking good.

He was the man to drop the WWE Championship to Rob Van Dam when Extreme Championship Wrestling was resurrected. When Nexus made their arrival to WWE, Cena was the man they constantly attacked. When CM Punk was "leaving" WWE in 2011, Cena was the man to drop the title. When WWE wanted the Rock to main event, it was Cena who stepped up and jobbed to a man who had wrestled just one match in seven years.

Being the face of the promotion often leads to circumstances like the ones we have seen, but it doesn't make it right. As much as I hate to admit it, Cena has done everything an elite-level superstar is asked to do, plus some. I've talked to some fans who have said that the loss to Rock and Lesnar attack could have been WWEs way of saying sorry for "stuffing Cena down our throats," but I don't see it. When Rock beat him at WrestleMania, it was a move that made little to no sense to me. It's almost like another Hulk Hogan situation where the new stars of the sport won't be allowed their rightful spot in the sport.

In time, Cena will become WWE champion again and the WWE Universe will continue to be bored with him. It's expected that the fans will continue to be split when he makes his appearance in the arena and that is fine. Just don't keep putting him in the difficult position of facing past legends.

Statements like that would be more valid if Cena actually took all those booking decisions as signs of disrespect. The other problem is while this argument makes sense, Cena is too big of a pariah. So big, logic and common sense can be thrown out the window. I mean Cena gets booed for valid reasons, but then he gets booed simply because it's "cool." When Cena cut his promo this week, while his promo was robotic and stale, I got the feeling that fans just should give Cena the time and day. Jeez man, at least be quiet for 30 seconds. At Survivor Series last year, fans chanted "You can't wrestle" to Cena. Then he did a series of snapmares, followed by a dropkick. They then said "You still suck." Stubborn, in my opinion.

There can be a degree of sadness, that Cena seems to be on track to jobbing out to past stars. As if WWE has no positive outlook on the present and future. Now if they jobbed Cena out to current stars, like Orton last year, there's no disrespect at all. Instead it's special. CM Punk was a current star that Cena jobbed to, and the end result was wrestling history being made. Same with Nexus, only Punk was more longlasting.

My only guess for Rock winning now, is just to send the crowd home happy. Unfortunate for Cena, but again, a huge pariah.

One last thing, Yahoo? Man, I never knew they had a section of wrestling writers.

Kurt Angle and Jeff Hardy were the biggest names from WWE they got from TNA, and look where they are. Nowhere higher, at least not now. Angle came in, got a huge buyrate in his first match with Joe on PPV, but that was because Angle jumping to TNA freshened things up. Now, not so much. Even with those two big stars, there is skepticism in TNA actually using ex WWE/WCW stars right. So if Cena went there, TNA could very well get a good pop up, but only temporary.

Cena's little mention of TNA last year was funny though.

I've got an answer, but not much thoughts.

I think I will get a game for Manchester United before John Cena signs for TNA.

I'm not going to lie. I did pop for the brotha. I just imagined Dixie Carter having an orgasm when Cena said that. I don't even want to guess what Hogan was doing .

I don't see this happening since he is always talkign about how loyal he
has been to the wwe. Once he is done with wwe i see him doing movies and the like but not TNA. It would not be part of his Loyalty and Respect style. There is nothing he could gain by going to TNA. He will not need the money and TNA would be a step down for him from the WWE.

When Lesner originally botched that Shooting Star Press (see the 1st videoin post #4174) I thought he broke his neck on that move and was paralyzed. It was scary. Yet here he is years later and still wrestling.

As far as Rock over Cena I can't believe they did that. Unless there is some secret plan in the works that we don't know about (or can't figure out), how can you let a guy that has wrestled 1x in 7 years beat your top face that wrestles all the time? What does that say about your business?

I feel it would have been much better to have them 2 have the match they did and when both guys are too exhausted to go on have Lesner come out and F5 the both of them or some such thing. Or have Brock and A-Train come out together and kill Rock and Cena at the same time?
