People don't realize how good a non-wrestler (valet, manager, announcer, GM, etc...) can be for the business. As a manager they get paired with wrestlers that are not good on the mic but still make great monster heels.

Everyone hates Vicki Gurrerro because she is so annoying but thats her job. She is paired with 2 guys in her stable that just are good technical wrestlers but have the personality of a stuffed animal. There have been great heel managers in the WWE from Captain Lou Albano, Freddie Blassie, and Mr. Fuji.

John makes a great heel GM. He is so weasally while pretending to be fair and honest the fans just hate him more and more. I think even Cole is great as a heel announcer. People love to hate him and we always mark out big time when he gets his ass kicked.

I think it sucks that there are no managers today.

I don't hate or like Vickie. I know her job is to be annoying, but what it should be is helping get some wrestlers over. Her only tool is ''excuse me'' She might get booed for it, but it isn't helping anybody. Ziggler or Swagger haven't progressed any further since they have been with her.

Be great to have another Bobby Heenan or Gary Hart or him or her or whoever that actually manage and just don't shout an annoying catchphrase.

I agree that the lack of managers is hurting the overall product; there were/are a lot of guys that were held back by their talking style (whether it was just a lack of personality or a lisp or whatnot) that would have gotten more over with someone to do the talking for them.

Plus, the old-school managers were great at getting the guys over & getting them more heat with their actions at ringside. Heenen, Dangerously, Cornette, etc, got guys over just by aligning with them.

I think Vince finds them too "rasslin'" for him, so he doesn't use them like he used to. At least they're using some not-so-great-at-wrestling females as valets (AJ, Maxine, Rosa, my-girl-Kaitlyn) to keep the eye-candy at ringside. And there's still Ricardo Rodriguez (who's better than the guy he 'seconds') as a male at ringside.

You're crazy - Dolph could stay over on his own with his heel personality. Vickie totally helps him (she's great at her role) but he's good enough to stay over on his own now, IMHO.

And with that said: they've got to stop with King's jokes about how fat/unattractive Vickie is. She's older-looking ... because she's older. But she's lost a ton of weight and looks great for her age; for a guy King's age to act the way he does about her is creepy & lame.

Stephanie was fucking hot in the early 2000s', but I'm just talking about her body. Neck up, all I see is Vince. Now, if I didn't know much about Vince and the character of Mr. McMahon hadn't been so huge, I probably wouldn't care, but the chin just kills it for me.

As for managers, I agree that it would be great to see more of them. Vickie is doing the exact opposite of what a manager should be doing, though. Once Dolph finally got a push, she slowed him down, and that push fizzled. I'm in agreement that he should be on his own.

Speaking of divas, what's up with this stuff on Rima Fakih? She said she's going to WWE. I hope not, watching Tough Enough, she simply doesn't have the build to be a wrestler. She will be very awkward in movement, won't do much, and if she gets longer matches (longer than 2 minutes), she will be exposed.

I get the feeling that Dean Ambrose is close to debuting. I hope so, I think he will really take WWE by storm. He has his own character, and that will get him far. Plus he's talented in the ring.

I wouldn't put that much stock into it. You saw a woman on the show with zero training. Compare her to the woman who was on Tough Enough and is now one of Brodus Clay's dancers. I thought Fakih looked better than her in the ring. Both had zero training coming into the show. You can't compare them to the Hispanic chick or Alicia Fox's sister. The Hispanic chick has been wrestling for years, while Fox's sister had been in FCW for at least six months.

While I think he's a bit overrated on the mic, I think he's the next big developmental wrestler to make it to the main stage. He had a "confrontation" with Foley at Wrestlemania. Foley is a great person to get him over fast. Here's the video:

Ziggler to me was a guy who had some charisma, but needed a lot of work to make it to the main stage. Vickie took a midcard guy and made him an upper midcard guy. I disagree that she didn't help them. Ziggler had charisma, but there was something that was missing with his promos. I don't know if it was confidence problems, or what it was. Playing off of Vickie helped him. I think her work is done now, however. Ziggler has shown that he's over enough and can deliver a great promo by himself. She needs to concentrate on Swagger to see if they can resurrect his career.

I am in full agreement with this. I like Vickie. Before her, Ziggler was just a great wrestler, and if you listened to his early promos, his voice was pretty grating. I think part of his improvement had to do with Vickie's confidence on the mic. All the heat she gets, and considering that she's not a veteran in the game, about 5 or so years, but 4 as a real villain. I would think early on that she would be damaged by it. Not only she kept on going, but she realized that her image is important on weekly TV, so she lost weight as a result. She gets heat, if she's doing that, it's a good job. Unless it's X-Pac heat, which I don't feel she gets. So Ziggler gained confidence with her, plus, without her, he would not have been in high pressure situations. There was a segment where Vickie interrupted John Cena in December 2010. Cena was celebrating that he beat Wade Barrett, then comes Vickie. Dolph tailed her, and he was a part of a segment where Vickie was booed like no tomorrow, worse than Cena. Just that exposure alone is a lesson in gaining heat, that Ziggler likely picked up on. Not only Vickie, but his whole 2011 where he worked with main event talent: Cena, Edge, Orton, CM Punk. Those guys took him to the next level, and for the past 6 months, he's fine tuned his promo skills. Another part is in thanks to getting on Z! True Long Island Story, as progressively, his presence on that show has increased, and his mic skills followed.

I think Ziggler should be on his own, and Swagger be the sole pet project.

In reply to burtog over Lawler's comments: the man never left the 90s. He uses the same jokes, but doesn't have the charisma or excitement he had back then. He just can't come up with new jokes at Vickie's expense, and it's a shame.

well at least we all agree that Dolph Ziggler should be on his own now. That's all I really meant to be honest. I don't see it happening anytime soon which is a shame.

WWE.com says there's 5 superstarts for Brock Lesnar to battle. They are: Big Show, Sheamus, Randy Orton, Kane and Mark Henry. No disrespect but Brock Lesnar easily F5'd Mark Henry like he weighed like a feather and Brock would totally decimate the rest, yes, even Sheamus. That's what I think. Although a feud with Sheamus and Lesnar would be epic, but Sheamus wouldn't stand a chance.
