I think Peter's performances got better throughout the 90s.

My recollection of watching North's 80s scenes is that he missed a lot of facials, not through cum-dodging on the part of the female, but due to, basically, bad aim or overshooting the girl's face entirely and hitting the pillow, headboard, alarm clock on the night stand. Obviously, Peter got better at that.

While Peter's material is great, of the group of guys that were working in the 80s I think the best male actor was John Leslie. I can't think of any performers since him that combined the whole (staged) seducation/realistic sex/dirty talk/good acting. Tom Byron had his whole sleaze-ball period, Rocco's early stuff is terrific, but I don't go for his later "stick her head in a toilet" stuff, Jon Dough and Randy Spears were good on-screen, non-distracting performers. Perhaps the all-time good, non-featured/non-distracting male performer was Mike Horner.

The current stuff features guys who remind me Jamie Gillis w/o the charm.
