I always wonder how long it takes to shoot a single scene? Like one forty minute scene? Is that most of a day? Half a day? What is the "on-set-to-screen-time" ratio of shooting porn.

I've heard it's often about half a day.

I'm not sure why it takes so long. There was a series called Drive Thru, where they keep the camera rolling. I remember Drive Thru 3 with Terri Summers and David Perry was a good scene - if they managed to shoot a good scene with stopping, why couldn't others?

I think right now you probably need to do at least anal to get anywhere near $1500 for a scene. Those are prices from probably the noughties, when performers actually still made some money. A young starlet who shot like 3 scenes a week would make like 18K a month. I'm thinking a girl who works just as much now will probably not even make half of that (at least not without side hustles like OF).
