And just because it was big on the outside doesn't mean it wasn't bigger on the inside. Those chameleon circuits are rather good.

Things are starting to come together. They've planted the story seeds, and they're starting to grow. (Or maybe dissolve into slime.)

I'm really enjoying this. Another good solid episode.

Looks like I was right about the Master, but there are obviously a lot more explanations to come.

I can't wait for the next one.

And one of the last appearances of the Meddling Mink was in ancient Egypt. These guys are Monks. And yet they look like the offspring of the Peter Pratt/Geofory Beaver Master.

This is why I have always loved New Who:

The Doctor is suppose to make his companions better people. He brings out an inner strength that is hidden in everyone he chooses as Rose, Captain Jack, Mickey, Martha, Donna, Amy, Rory, and even Clara would never have surrendered Earth just to save his vision or his life. It is one of the keystones of the Doctor Who Universe as each was prepared to die rather than ever surrender. Bill had best make the same choice by the end of the next episode. We shall see.

I follow this forum on a regular basis but really think that some of the recent posters are getting a little too involved and are taking the whole thing a bit too seriously. The current 3 Part mini series has produced some of the best performances out of the current cast. Bill has been an ideal foil for the Doctor; but her decision to cede power to the Monks has got some fans a bit hot under the collar. For me, watching on Saturday it seemed inevitable that she was going to be the one to do this. Unlike other companions she knows very little about the Doctor and still has a vulnerability about her (part of her charm). So I am quite glad that the script went the way it did and the next episode is hopefully going to be a cracker!

It's just a dialogue between fans of the series. Opinions vary, but in the long run, they are just that. Opinions.
Sometimes things get a little out of hand, but it's very rare and we have Mod's who watch over this forum so they can nip things in the bud if they do get out of hand.
But again, that's rare.

I think they are going to have something to do with the Mondiasian Cybermen coming up.
Maybe the Monk thing is just a disguise or they are in league with them.

I didn't notice till much later and I hate to edit my posts when they've been out there so long.

For the record, I meant "Meddling Monk". If it was a Mink, it would explain some of the Doctor's coat with the fur collar and explain why we never saw the Mink again.
