The new Full Metal Alchemist is superior to the original in every way. It follows the manga much closer and the series was truly one of the best animes of last year. The new series also had the same voice actors/actresses playing their original roles for the most part. The new series was called Full Metal Alchemist: Brotherhood. I think it had 64 episodes.
Also if anyone saw Fate/Stay (one of my all time favorite series) later this year they have a prequel to it set 10 years before the time of Fate/Stay and they have lined up a whos who of talent to play the roles. |

Its funny thats a genre I don't care for. However I did like Gurren Lagan (sp), Escaflowne, and the current series Star Driver.

The first series of Ghost in the shell was great. Darker than black is well worth watching too.

Right now, I'd say my favourite anime is Naruto Shippuuden. Other anime I've enjoyed watching are Dragon Ball Z, Full Metal Panic, Fullmetal Alchemist, Genshiken to name a few. I don't watch as much anime as I use to.
