Account Deletion Requests

It is so sad to see 42 pages of account deletion requests: what are we doing wrong?

Is there something we are missing that would make the Planet Suzy experience one that no person in his/hers right mind would want to walk away from?

Staff and Admins: surely this would make a worthwhile discussion topic amongst yourselves..?

It may well be that you guys have a private area that you use to discuss such issues (of course this is pure conjecture on my part), but if such a place exists, please pull your finger out and try to find a solution.

This issue is particularly poignant in the wake of VIP members asking for account deletions.

If you can, do what you have to do in order to make our Planet a better place for our potential defectors.

Members want their accounts deleted.
That does not mean that we are doing something wrong. Most requests are for personal reasons.

Exactly right. I think PlanetSuzy is an extremely well-run forum website. I have found the moderators to be very fair and very hard working, and I have found most members to be very decent.

To my mind, there is nothing the website or its moderators do that would cause a member to ask for his or her account to be deleted. Moreover, there is nothing the website or its moderators could do to mollify a member asking for his or her account to be deleted.

As an example, I would like my account to be deleted. This is for personal reasons, and is not a reflection of PlanetSuzy or its moderators, to whom I extend my thanks.

Please delete my account.
