Guys a bit of a specific question. How would you describe this type of hairstyle? I want to recreate it in SD but have no idea how you would even describe it:



That's Marilyn Mansion BTW but it's about the hairstyle. So you have the bangs and then the slightly unkempt and messy looking sides, roughly neck length/shoulder length. Is there a concise and precise way to describe that style in a way that SD would consistently create it?

That was a new one: I ran ROOP on a creation and thought it hadn't worked. Checked the rest of the image to see if it had perhaps replaced a face in the background. Then I saw a tiny little face where the models belly button should be! Apparently ROOP had recognized the navel as a face and replace it!

I have asked max if he could chip in but as you can tell he is not responding, oh well.

Ok so I upgraded from a 1030 4Gig to a 3060 8Gig today.

Image processing time has gone from 20 mins for a 640 x 960 image, to 20 seconds. Guess it's time to really experiment then.

I want to say it's called a "bob". Don't ask me why it's called that. I have no clue, but that's kind of what it looks like. Not sure about the messy aspect, but the length would indicate a bob. I Googled "what is a bob women hairstyle?"

A bob cut, also known as a bob, is a short to medium length haircut, in which the hair is typically cut straight around the head at approximately jaw level, and no longer than shoulder-length, often with a fringe at the front.

If you then look at images for a bob, there seems to be many variations within that style: Messy, straight, curly, feathered, etc.

It looks like a 1970s hair style.

I might want to try the words
", messy hair bangs hair style"
or
", Short messy dark hair style "
or even try writing...
", short messy Pixie hair style "
", short messy BOB hair style "

A few pages back you will see a full list of "Hair styles" which
I have discovered that you can use.
Depending on your Main Checkpoint which you are using, this SD-AI can create the hair styles without the use of a pre-trained Lora for hair.

You just have to write the words DESCRIBING the hair style which
you want.
NEVER FORGET to write at the end of the hair style you want , the
words " Hair Style " <--- This is the A.I. special trigger word.

I had a question. I am much newer to this than most of the regular contributors to this topic.
So perhaps it is a beginner's question.
What prompt would you use if you wanted a picture that frames just the upper half of a subjects body?
Like a prompt that would return such a framing:




I have tried "medium shot of..." since that seems to be the technical term for such a shot but it doesn't seem to work, or at least work very well.

I use (upper body) in brackets and it works pretty well
