My least favorite wrestler is Zach Gowan. I didn't care for the sideshow spectacle of him wrestling and the guy came off like a tool in shoots. My favorite tag team was the Roadwarriors. They looked and acted like legit badasses and had one of the greatest theme songs of all time. My favorite theme was Psycho Sid's theme in WWF. |

12 men? Damn. Speaking of Evan Bourne, I read he was profiled by WWE.com, and he said he wants the US title or something. It seemed he won't be cut from the roster, as was speculated with his 2nd Wellness Policy violation. If it's 12 men, it would make sense for the match to be pretty long. Don't want something short where a lot of the men are just there, and they barely do anything.

No Miz? This makes me think a possible match is Ryder and Kelly Kelly vs. Miz and Eve. That would be interesting, since Miz has had a history of "taking out the trash," which refer to his past tag team partners. They are turning his losing streak into a storyline, where he's growing desperate to be in Wrestlemania. So desperate, he will team with someone? Someone who insulted him. |

I figure The Miz has to have some sort of match at Wrestlemania, going from the main event one year, to catering duty the next, it is some fall.

For being underrated for so long after being a singles star, and taking until just last year to get what he's deserved at around the same time his partner deserved a world title, Christian. The specific time is around 2005. Edge was Mr. Money in the Bank, and was being a force in RAW. Simultaneously, Christian was growing into his Captain Charisma character. He actually challenged for the WWE Championship, along with Chris Jericho, against John Cena, in a PPV. What happened? After that, he just fell and fell, to the point that he pretty much had to leave.
Coming back, he was humbled for years. Not even complaining or lowering his performances given the position he was in, he kept showing that he was one of the best in the roster. Just as much charisma as the more successful Edge, just as much in ring ability and mic skills. Maybe healthier, as Edge's neck would make him wrestle on borrowed time. All the skills to be a world champion in many times like Edge (short title reigns up the ass), yet never got rewarded for it until last year. Even last year, there was questioning of if it only happened because Edge retired. Regardless, they cracked the window open, and he broke through it. They gave him a major feud with Randall, and he proved that he can work a main event feud. Randall is not the best promo guy in the business, by any stretch of imagination. Rely on Christian for that. He was the guy to pay attention to the most, as he went from face to heel, underwent character development, and even won a world title by spitting in the face of Orton. On the wrestling side, Christian and Orton stole pretty much every PPV they were in (except Money in the Bank), had the best matches of the year on those shows and on TV. 2011 was his best year, simply because they let him move up to card. The payoff was grand, with entertaining matches from Del Rio to CM Punk, to Sheamus. So far, his career peak as a singles star has to be at SummerSlam, when he came in as world champion, and was in one of the co-main events of the show. The end result was probably the best singles match of both him and Orton's career, being better than the more hyped Punk and Cena rematch. Pretty soon, he needs one...more...match. He can also play a great face, and a great heel. For all the the times he destroyed his body in ladder matches and such, and his age, to still go in the ring, takes some true talent. |

To me the most underrated WWE star is/was Chris Jericho. This guy always works his ass off and never phones in a performance. When he won the unified title people had the attitude he was just holding the belt until a bigger name came along to take it from him.
My other choice for underrated star was Roddy Piper. Everyone talks about how Hulk Hogan made the rock and wrestling event (with Cindy Lauper and Mr T) that made wrestling popular again with mainstream people (and Hulkamania) but they all forget that without a great heel to work against the face cannot reach the heights that they have gotten to. Who doesn't remember Piper smashing a coconut over Snuka's head and destroying him? |

Cena starting off with a rap, cool. He said Cleveland Steamer It is not looking good for team Long, David Otunga's ring entrance is so gay, he is almost turning into a guilty pleasure. Funksaurus is back, he is doing exactly the same thing he was doing before he disappeared. Jinder Mahal is the latest victim, I'd get Brodus on team Long, if Teddy has any sense. Sheamus vs Dolph Ziggler was good again. The usual from Dolph, he throws himself about, gets a little offense in, before he ends up losing. A few seconds of Bryan being a dick was a nice added bonus. Zack Ryder is officially the dumbest man in WWE. All the attacks from Kane have done serious damage. Eve is hot, but wise up. The Undertaker was eaten alive when he said April 21st ha ha. The thing I am looking forward to most is The Undertaker taking his hat off. What is he hiding? I'm just kidding by the way. I wasn't really blown away with another Shawn and Undertaker confrontation. It had the feel of just throwing some random bullshit line in to kill time. Punk vs Miz was like any other Punk vs Miz match. Miz loses again. I have never watched psyche. The Jericho promo to CM Punk reminded me of the Jericho promo to Rey Mysterio in 2009 ( you're an addict and your mask is your drug) So Punk's father was/is an alcoholic, Jericho is going to make Punk drink? Ok. I can see the Wrestlemania ending in my head, Jericho comes to the ring with a bottle of something. Punk wins and pours the alcohol over Jericho. Something tells me that Randy Orton will beat Jack Swagger. Well this went exactly how I thought, move for move. Orton hears voices, Orton hits the draping DDT, Cole says vintage, RKO and goodnight. The Rock concert was the winner of the rap/rock battle. I'd say it was a first round KO. |
