It seems that Kane gets that treatment a lot. Over a year ago, dominant villain and world champion. Suddenly becomes a face and teams with Big Show against some guys that helped him bury The Undertaker alive. If anything, it shows short-sightedness. With Kane, I mean the explanation is simple: it's Kane. At least that's what they are showing every new angle he takes. He could very well explain his trip to the hospital, and in some sick fantasy, thought of Orton. It could happen.

About the anonymous GM. I was glad it ended. It went from total mystery and excitement, to a tool to get Michael Cole more hated. It did the job for Cole, but in time, it amounted to nothing. They at least got rid of it quietly, nipping it in the bud. Plus, pro wrestling fans have been seen as those with short term memories. With weekly TV, everything moving fast, one does tend to forget some little things. Off the top of my head: CM Punk teaming with Del Rio and Miz earlier in 2011. Punk actually hugged and kissed Del Rio on the cheek. Months later, those two feuded for the WWE title. Christian and Del Rio: bitter enemies earlier in the same year, 'Berto sent Christian home with a torn pec. Just a few weeks ago, they are smiling together with John Laurinaitis. No fans in attendance questioning that. Proof that wrestling fans are thought of as having short term memories. Of course not all of them.

I haven't watched Smackdown yet. I think I'll pop when I hear a you can't wrestle chant for Slater, I know he is trying his best but damn, I think he sucks. Another question. why call him the one man southern rock band? he hasn't showed any musical talent. At least give him a guitar like van hammer or something.

Orton vs Kane, I remember you calling that Seven Churches. Good call . Can't say I'm all that thrilled about it, but it gives Orton a match at Wrestlemania, and keeps him out of the world title match. Sweet.

Sheamus vs Ziggler was a very good tv match. Ziggler bumped around, but also got a good bit of offense in. Obviously Sheamus wasn't going to lose. I still don't see how Ziggler can move any further up, I really don't. I never see him moving up from the midcard. I've been told for so long that he is a good selling midcarder that can't quite win the big one. Maybe down the line a money in the bank win could do it for him, or maybe he wins that then ends up with a Jack Swagger reign. I know what my money would go on. (like a Jack Swagger reign)

I love Otunga right now, what a great stooge he is. Patterson and Brisco would be proud.

Santino vs the one man Southern Rockband. I'll be honest, I would have skipped this match but I wanted to hear the you can't wrestlechant . Slater was stomping and punching a lot, so I can understand why he was victimized, better than the usual no response at all. I popped for it.

Yes Eve, you used Zack, get over it. (I just yawned) Natalya Neidfart, I actually thought of that name as soon as she first farted, but whatever. Eve beats her in 2 or 3 minutes, could be worse, but I don't see how. I really couldn't care less. Impossible.

Poor Drew, agreed that his theme his awesome. Sadly that is the best thing I can say about him. Fuck you Tiffany. Sorry. I've said before that I'm not a fan but I know he has talent, maybe he will get moved to Raw, although I don't fancy his chances there either.

Cody Rhodes = ratings, only thing I still don't like is his talking style (what?)

These Big Show embarrassing moments are great. I'm having a hard time thinking about who will win their match. They are making such a big deal about Show's pitiful WM record, so something is telling me he will win this time. I don't know. Cody should win, he would if I was running the show.

Henry vs Big Show part 742 wasn't too bad.

Bryan is still top of my fab 5, I am pretty certain that he is healthier than me, wouldn't be hard. I enjoyed his pre match promo before the match with Orton. Fantasy booking. Bryan makes Sheamus tap at Wrestlemania. Yeah I know, I'm a dreamer.

It was a decent match, the standard screwy finish you come to expect, Bryan wasn't going to lose, he wasn't going to pin Orton either. Orton gets counted out when the Kane pyro goes off. Bryan sneaks one again, a win is a win. I'm sure if this was Miz sneaking another win, I'd be slamming him like no other, difference is, I like Bryan and I never liked the Miz. Enjoy your Wrestlemania dark match, Mike.

The show ends with Kane getting the upper hand against Orton, he says 'welcome back' meh. Does anybody care about Kane anymore ? I'm near certain I heard a few pins drop when he came out and killed the tag team division on Monday.

I still care about Kane I've been a big Kane mark since he first debuted against Undertaker after Taker and HBK's legendary Hell in a Cell match. Shit, I was even a fan of Dr. Issac Yankem DDS...a heel dentist...should have been easy money...hahaha

No doubt. It is unforgettable. The days of missing school on Monday so I could watch the pay per views.

Wade Barrett underwent surgery on his dislocated elbow earlier this week. Unfortunately for Barrett, the injury is said to be far worse than originally diagnosed. After the surgery, he is now not scheduled to return to the ring for 3-4 months, so Wrestlemania is absolutely out of the question for him.

Barrett's injury will have a major ripple effect on the Mania card. Multiple sources have indicated that there were plans to have a Money in the Bank match at the PPV with Barrett getting the briefcase. With Barrett out, the match has been scrapped.

It really does suck for Wade Barrett, I could picture him with the money in the bank briefcase. He has been booked quite well unlike some previous winners and had a bit of momentum.

Zigger vs Shemus was definitely a good match even moms enjoyed it match of the week for sure. I think it's sucks on what they are doing with Kane but, if he has no issues then what can you do it just sucks to see him like this. As for SD as a whole as usually it had it's up and downs but, I have to say I'm stating to enjoy the Teddy, John L. fued they got a good thing going.

I forgot to mention this earlier this week I enjoyed seeing the Rock but, I also was disapponted in him against Cena with the war of words Cena 2, Rock 0 but of course we get the real Rock when Raw went of the air it's all good he still my guy and we got a dark match John Cena pulled double duty as he went up against Kane of course you already know how it ends so it's no point of me going over it.

At the end it was the best WWE events I been to so far.

You've also got to take into account the changes the wrestling business has gone through during that time. When Andre was wrestling, the business was a lot more iconic. These men were the equivalents of action figures sparring under your dad's recliner. In Andre's day, the likes of Hogan were doing promos, but they weren't deep by today's standards. I don't think it really mattered who took up the mic as long as someone was doing it. The rest of the guys could just sit pretty and still evoke a reaction.

The business changed in the 90s', though, and you saw a sort of mesh. Guys like Taker and Kane could get by with not talking much, while others thrived on it. To get away with not speaking, you had to be either a monster or a machine. Those days are dying out, though. We're now in an era of soap opera wrestling where mic skills are absolutely required. The guys who can get away with not being good on the mic or not speaking at all are throwbacks to a different time, but let's face it, they would all crash and burn like McGillicutty if they tried such a facade with newer talent. I've adapted to the times, and now I judge wrestlers solely on their mic skills. That's why I'm so judgmental of guys who don't have mic charisma. They could be the best wrestler in the world, but if they can't sell it in a promo, I'll never pay any attention to them in the ring.

Well, yeah. Wrestling fans are known for their short memories. A guy could faceplant his grandmother one week and then turn on a heel the next, and the fans would completely forget. It's all part of the science of wrestling.

As someone who pays closer attention than the average fan, though, it pisses me off too when they drop storylines. Cena is a heel as far as I'm concerned, but I just wish they would've gone in a better direction with Kane. You don't send a guy off in an ambulance and expect smarks to believe that he thought "Wulp, I better go attack someone else now". Come on.
