If I remember correctly, the avatar was the creation/gift from a poster at a different board, in a different time.

I actually met/drank with Zakk, and Nick prior to a show in Portland, Maine a few years ago. Hanging with them for the short hour, or so that I did showed me that they're just as cool/down to Earth as you'd hope they'd be. We talked music for a few minutes, but then it was just drinkin' bullshit like you'd do with your close bros.

Or is it all of these, or other stuff I haven't even thought of?

I'm not primarily asking this just so I can figure out what it takes to "earn" a custom title (although that would be cool down the road). And I'm certainly not asking just to be a pest. I want to be a useful member of the community because I've really benefited from Planetsuzy over the years (long before I ever decided to become a member, I'm a bit embarrassed to admit)...and while I think my involvement since I joined bears this out, I also want to know where I can improve. And I suspect I'm not the only one who wonders what it means to "get more involved in the community".

So, any input from you - or from the VIP or other long-standing members who haunt this thread - would be appreciated. Thanks.
