They were understaffed by 11, 30 persons is the full staff requirement per shift. Is DEI to blame? I don't think so. They have constantly struggled to staff air traffic control positions because it requires a 4-year college degree and 2 to 3 years of air traffic control training. The starting salary is $60,000 annually, working 10 hours a day, 6 days a week. You can not apply if you are older than 31, there is a mandatory retirement age of 56. It is an incredibly stressful job without commensurate pay. That is why they were understaffed and will remain so for the foreseeable future.

Just for the same GP of it all ... you could have just mentioned that when you wiped out my posts. I can't understand it being all that difficult to be courteous. Explaining things helps stop posters from making the same mistakes over again.

If staff took the time to send a message every time a post was removed there would not be enough hours in a day to do it, hence the We may move, remove, merge or edit your posts without notice.

However staff can choose to spend the extra time to notify someone why there post was removed, it's called an infraction, I don't think anyone wants that.

Unless you want to talk about his personal life (e.g. his breeding fetish, his racism, his pathetic desire to pretend to be a "gamer"), there really isn't. His businesses (Tesla, SpaceX, and Starlink) have been very much tied up in government contracts or subsidies from the very beginning. That's not even to mention his very public forays into politics, both domestically and internationally. He's an oligarch and any discussion of him is by definition political.
